Will you kiss or hug your significant other if they’re sick?

My boyfriend won’t touch me if I get sick but somehow for him he acts like a sick child but it’s ok because I like taking care of him.

Strep can spread through airborne droplets when someone with the infection coughs or sneezes, or through shared food or drinks.

Truth to be told, I think kissing and hugging would depend on how deeply the couple knows each other. Both should understand each other. In these conditions, there will always be arguments on both sides (to do or not to do). Good luck. Get well soon.

If she has something contagious I would have her wear a mask and avoid physical contact because I'm no use to her if I'm just as sick

Depends on what they have:

-If it's contagious? (flu, strep throat, gastroenteritis) Hell no! That bedroom and house is getting Lysol'd down as soon as he's better before I touch him. And I might borrow a hazmat suit from my job just to be on the safe side, lol

-If it's not contagious? (sinuses, allergies) Sure, but only in moderation.

Rofl no... I'd take care of him but I'm not doing all that hugging and stuff bc then I'd be sick and nothing would get done. At least 1 person needs to be well to take care of the other.

Due to incubation, I'll have been exposed already anyways, probably. And if not, touching doesn't matter much, if they sneeze in my direction I'm exposed anyways.

As long as they don't have anything dangerous, I don't mind hugging them and such. Good for my immune system.

Depends on an illness. A cold won’t prevent me from hugging or kissing her. Catching a cold is not lethal, so even if I fall ill, I’ll recover pretty quickly. Nothing to worry about. If you have tuberculosis though or anything like that, then I’ll act more carefully. But not for the fear of getting ill myself, but rather for the fear of being unable to take care of you in case of some serious complications.

It depends on what my wife has if it's contagious, and a pretty nasty bug, I try to keep my distance, only because we have young kids and there needs to be one adult taking care of the youngsters.

If im the one sick I won't kiss my partner on the lips but ill kiss their forehead or something. I still hug them though. When they are sick they do the same because we don't want to get the other person sick.

I would hug but not kiss if it was contagious. I would wait until they got treatment and then make more contact, just to avoid both of us getting sick. You always need one to be healthy to make sure things get done around the house
