All of the women I have dated demonstrated themselves to be more or less ruthless when they needed to.
I thought I was a pretty ambitious person but I always discovered to be way out of my league with them on that. It's a bit scary, but it's also something that makes me admire, respect and get attracted to them

Yes, of course, sometimes you have to be ruthless. I know my boyfriend is career driven, but he hasn't been ruthless yet, at least not to my knowledge.

Ruthless people are for the most part psychotic. There is a major difference between a person who is intimidating and do what they have to do to survive vs somebody who just likes to hurt other people. No way.
