Honestly, There is no totally agreed upon definiton of these. I think it really depends on where you are. This is why... when I was about 10, I said "well this is stupid... I'm not playing this "sex as a baseball bases" bullshit.

But as I remember it: First base was a little under-the-bra action.

Second base was more like handjobs/fingering

Third base- Oral sex

But DAMMIT this is SO DUMB... why not just tell the person who INSISTS on using this horribly ambiguous way to describe their "level" of sexual activity... to just tell you what the fuck they're talking about... exactly... with no reference to baseball...

I think it's not the sexual ones, but more what are they in a relationship excluding sex. Like home plate could be marriage or engaged. I chose moving in together. Plus most people know the sexual bases. Paradise by the Dashboard Light gives a pretty good idea.
