It depends on the person.

Some people are so dependent on relationships to be happy, they are never single for long! And the ones that are single grumble about how miserable they are.
Then you have the ones that are blessed and find someone that makes them happy: so of course they'll say relationships are better!

Then you have the ones that are legitimately happier single. That's where I fall in 😊
We've gotten to a point where we're comfortable being alone and by ourselves. Or we're so preoccupied living our lives we don't have time to deal with dating.
Or we're just fed up with the nonsense dealing with dating. Whatever the situation, we're content being single. We're not opposed to a relationship, we're just not actively looking or trying to find one.

The important thing is to do what makes YOU happy and not be in a relationship just for the sake of being in one.

I am a relationship person. I have been by myself and I have been with others. I prefer being in relationships. Not all of them are worth fighting for, but they have the potential to be one of the most rewarding aspects of life. Friends and family included. We need a few people in our lives for them to feel rich and full.

It depends on the relationship but I think its better to be with somebody if they treat you well and make you happy - I like somebody right now - I just need to make sure he likes me and isn't using me because he's afraid to be alone - once I have that assurance - I think we're good to go.
