My wife and I a lot of days where we wouldn't speak just one of pitfalls of working together. Things would be so busy we didn't have time to talk, I would catch the book work up over lunch. Then the reports that were coming due, balancing the petty cash, funding letter, and speaking at night made a busy schedule. Sometimes hello is impossible. There were days after all the things, we had to do, we were so tired we take a shower and just fall into bed & right to sleep. We always made sure to make it up on our days off, no phones no pager just going away for the day, & dinner together.
sometimes people don't want or need every detail. but instead just want the highlights of what's going on with you. doesn't mean they don't car in general. just might not want to hear about none important things.
so if you get asked how are things. and you start to rifle off every detail. they might become annoyed or have a look on there face in that regard.
also once you have been with someone for a long time. you tend to know most things about them. that is unless there hiding things from you.
Not necessarily.
My boyfriend and I don’t live together so while it’d be odd if neither of us shoot the other a text, at the very least- especially if we were both very busy with work related stuff at the time, automatically assuming he must be with another woman is not where my mind would go.
My boyfriend and I are doing that rn we haven't spoken this is our 3rd day and he said u can't make a man speak
But imlike u should communicate with me. u always said communication is the key so wth
Communication is key... without it you really don't have anything.

With some partners, if you have a heated disagreement, a cooling off period is advisable and a positive thing for your current relationship.
One of the hardest things I have discovered in relationships is the need to be in constant contact everyday. I am a bit of a loner and having that time alone is part of who I am. It means I have no less love for my mate but I do tell her that I have to have some time to myself for us to be good. She gets it because she is the same way. Don't be afraid to take some time for yourself just let the other know that it is all that it is. Not a reflection that things are going bad in the relationship. We all love our partners but sometimes we just get up to our asses in them right? Can I get an Amen from the choir on this?
Amen
Amen
I don’t think so some people just don’t know what to talk about you could be his first girlfriend everything could be new to him and he probably didn’t talk to a lot of people before he got with you so he might just be use to being with his self and not having to say anything to nobody His only interaction might just have been his family
Well there will always be one offs that wouldn't apply but for the most part... if you are in a loving relationship and one stops communicating then more then likely they are communicating with someone else.
A relationship is not a supervisor to whom you owe reports and check-ins. If I didn't feel like texting - I simply wouldn't, and if the other side took it as a sign of me doing something wrong then that would be very stupid of her, but her choice nonetheless. I know certain women like to compete with their bitch friends, seeing who can be a bigger nightmare for her man, but I don't need such filth in my life.
I don't know. It depends. If both partners are highly career-centric, have little time to chit chat, and are completely okay with it, it might just be completely normal for them. For some people, this is the ideal romantic relationship. There is are no universal rules that apply to everyone in these situations. It depends on each personality, upbringing, conditions, history, temperament, and such.
My partner spends hours in silence when he is concentrating, can be all day... we are perfectly fine and I trust him whole heartedly... I also dknt talk to him when I'm busy and focused
Some people are the silent type, and they don't need to talk all the time, if he doesn't reply back to you when you ask something you might have a issue. But not because neither is chatty that day. Because if he doesn't talk to you means you didn't talk to him, neither can claim the other did wrong both because they acted the same.
I'd say yes and no. It depends on her mood and busyness. Also on her natural state, like does she seem to have a much less of a wide range of emotion. But to be fair depression can act like this and busyness can mask itself as her needs are met so she's ok. I'd say it's best to notice the lack or lack of desire of intimacy. Then id talk to them about that. Saying that you miss it, seeing what happens...
So basically you're saying that both partners are supposed to be 24/7 up in each other's business else something is off?
I mean I've never been in that situation before but I'm a person who somtimes wonders alone and spend a day without talking to anyone. That doesn't make me an instant cheater
Depending on your situation then that could be true. If the two of you live together or see each other often and usually communicate a lot then that would be a red flag. But in long distance relationships that can be normal. My boyfriend and I are currently quarantining in separate states with our families. We don’t talk everyday simply because there isn’t much to talk about. We’ve both just been sitting in our house bored.
Sounds like you guys gonna break up soon.
@ChefPapiChulo nah we’re chilling.
Are you Native American?
@ChefPapiChulo nope. I’m black. Cherokee is my name. It confuses a lot of people.
You look Native American. Are you sure not even a little bit?
@ChefPapiChulo There’s like some in my bloodline generations and generations ago, but my family is pretty sure it wasn’t Cherokee. I’m just a light skinned black girl with relaxed hair.
would you want to be Cherokee?
@ChefPapiChulo I never really thought about it. I’m ok with what I am. I’m just a black girl.
okay thanks for the talk. it was interesting.
Only one day? Or all day no words but last a whole week?
Let's just say communication was a plenty and all of sudden a few days a week your partner isn't saying anything to you. Could be because they are now spending that energy talking to someone else.
Could be anything, I won't make any assumption until we know the whole story. It is dangerous to do so.
Not talking to your partner at least once a day is a deal breaker for me.
Would be very odd for sure!
It definitely throws a red flag on the relationship if the partner doesn’t say a word to you all day but I wouldn’t jump to conclusion that they are cheating on me , I would sit down with them first and talk to them and see what is going on if they give me the cold shoulder and don’t want to communicate back then yes Bitch is cheating lol
If you two don't speak a word to each other for the whole day, then something is probably wrong. It could be both of you haven't had the chance to talk because life, but if you're both at home and don't talk to each other for a day, then something is definitely not right.
What other relationship? If you're getting to know someone, safest bet is to take it slow. What is the rush? Same applies to friendships. Those who want to grace a kind listening ear, on day 1 or 2, with many of their problems (& outside of a working context) are needy people. Developing a friendship or relationship on such an unhealthy basis is unwise.
"if your PARTNER" which implies you are already in a serious relationship not just getting to know someone.
:) Got you! Depends what country you're speaking from. Partner can mean casual fling over here in Europe haha
It would seem like I'm not a priority or that I'm simply on the back burner (or even further) on his mind. A simple check in to say hello makes you feel valued.
@tiajoka I don't know if that would work for me! With all of the ways that people have of communicating, he could at least say, "hi how are you?" type of thing.
I hope everything works out for you! A little communication can definitely go a long way. 😊
What "other relationship"? You're assuming that she has another date?
it implies if she isn't giving you her energy she is giving it to someone else!
Maybe but what about her friends, family or even herself? Don't take me wrong but She has not to be with you all the time cause she's not your property. Try to do some things on your own too and you'll see what I'm talking about
LOL it's just a poll question dude.. nothing personal on my end! Appreciate the comments my man!
Guess I don't understand the second half of your statement...
Second half means if your partner is so busy that they can't speak to you at all during the day more than likely they are speaking to someone else.
I broke up with a guy for the reason. I'm a quiet, introverted person who needs some alone time to recharge my energy. Yet, he couldn't understand that. He wanted me to be someone whom I'm not. It's better to communicate with her/him about it. Perhaps she/he is a bit loner or she/he is mad at you. Don't make any judgement first. Try to understand her reasons.
Not necessarily. That could be the case, but then often times your partner is talking to you just fine so that things can appear that everything is good when they're really seeing someone else.
Hmm 🤔 hard to say. In some cases for sure!
It is odd I’d say if it happens regularly. Red flag
If it happens regularly, I would just throw acid in their face! It would be nice to blind the fucker anyway!
He could be having a bad day. The one thing I've realized about a relationship is when the energy isn't the same. That's when you make a choice to keep it that way or do something about it.
Disagree, as long as I know they're well (physically) then they can be as quiet as they need to be, everyone needs "me time" now and again.
I mean, yeah there are a lot of times that's true. But that simply can't be a marker. Drop in and talk to him/her. You'd surprised how many times it is a simple things that just needs some sorting out.
Or you're not a priority and that's also a big RED FLAG.
Could be they're depressed. So, not necessarily.
There will always be "one offs" so yes it's always possible.
Not sure exactly what you mean, but space is important in a healthy relationship, and sometimes you need a day to yourself, as long as you communicate that to your partner there's nothing wrong with it
“just know that the other relationship is going well”
What do you mean by this?
No but well on their way
wow super slow around here!
No, it just means that yours isn't going well, at least not on that particular day. Doesn't mean there's another one going on. That's not logical.
Ignoring a woman is the best thing you can do because she needs you to consent to give her power over you.
Ok, this is very simple. It's hard to explain, so just think about it, you'll see.
The "silent treatment" suggests they still care somewhat, in that they do not want to risk saying something that might do too much damage.
My wife - spend a whole day without talking? Seriously? lol lmao
For ANY reason? ha ha
Relationships only end in 2 ways. Mutual hatred or homicide
LOL Ok.
Let me not jump to a conclusion, maybe she's just overloaded with some work!
Doesn't need to be a cheater. But something on his mind.
Not really everybody has that day when they need their space
agree. . weather its boy or girl. . .
Stay off of Instagram... lol
Long distance or no? I think it depends on the situation.
There has never been any person I spoke to every single day so I don't know doesn't sound that tragic to me.
Every time I tell myself that’s not it, I’m wrong. 🤷♀️
Well that depends on the communication index of your relationship
Lol! Well damn!! Should I say insecurities issues?
I don't see how that can generally be the case.
I'm not very chatty, so I'd think it's okay.
It is not fair to assume that outright.
So you are a fool
Could be if you don't pay attention.
Actually it's opposite! 😁
That's not fair
How come?
Agree. Sounds possible
are you assuming that i'm a side hoe?
What “other” relationship?
The one between them and their side ho
The fuck do you have a girlfriend if you have another girl on the side?
Sounds great!
Disagree
Most likely getting a bigger dick on the side
No i dont
Sounds perfect! :)
