I believe life is about balance work, love, and play hard. And enjoy the ride because we won't be hear forever. Life's too short to be miserable.
Now having said that, nothing is perfect. But it's easiest if you find someone that compliments your temperment.
I like to think of myself as relatively successful. I'm on pace to retire a millionaire at 60. But that didn't just happen i tend to live a fairly spartan life. I sock money away like a mad man. And i'm a bit thrifty. I've been single my entire life and at this point there's no reason to rhink that'll ever change. But if it does it'll be because i found someone with rhe same mindset that wants the same things out of life. And that will make it infinitely easier.. for both of us. At least i assume lol.

For me they both work. I am a realist. It's about life. So even though pleasurable activities may not seem like work because it's fun it actually is work because of the effort put into it. You love you you love being right you love having everything done right so you don't have to work double or triple giving a sense of pride and accomplishment. So work is life love life love work and be successful without the ills of being human.
I think it all depends on the couple and their morals. If they both are attracted to success then that's compatible but if one isn't and the other is then it won't be. Psychology proves opposites don't attract. (check out my recent question by the way)
Love isn't a must but its definitely a want. So i wouldn't be happy without it UNLESS i had kids who loved me. Being loved by my child would be greater than any S. O/relationships love

I *prefer* to have a girlfriend/relationship, but I'm certainly capable of living on my own. I'm happier in a relationship, but I can find satisfaction elsewhere such that I'm not an empty shell without one. I do think that both men and women are stronger and better when working together as a team.
Love and work are not incompatible. Being obsessive over someone you love so much that you hate when they go to work or when you do is not healthy. Sure it's not fun having to leave someone you love to go to work, but if you don't do those things you have to do then you usually end up losing things, including relationships, that you love
Nope I would rather have a great love and relationship lol than have all the money in the world but be alone. I can just create a business with my one in a lifetime no cheating perfect relationship. But that doesn't exist so I'd rather work
You absolutely can and I do... One’s happiness doesn’t have to be centered around romance or intimacy. I’m just at a place in life where I’m starting to reach my own potential as a person, so I’m happy within myself.
Well people generally balance both. But I'd actually actually prefer to have more success in my career even if it means I stay single.
I want to leave a legacy and want my name to be remembered by people. They are seldom compatible. On rare occasions does a person feel happy doing his job and earning plentiful. Then sharing that with a loved one. It's not impossible, but has a little bit of luck needed.
For women it's a bigger problem
I think it's possible but both people have to be realistic with what they want and what they can handle
Women always try to do too much.First thing first ,,,, it's all about loving and sharing with one's self,,, if by any means someone whose craziness matches your madness eventually shows up,,, it's an added advantage anyway,, but still don't loose yourself
That is the biggest stupid concept given to corporate culture.
Workplace is the place where you spend at least half your life and you can't have feelings because your boss controls your life :((i don't minde to be succesfull and single or to have nothing but have only love.
i have no one to share with anything
Any outcome of it is definitely possible.
It looks like incompatible for me. 😟
Nope I could never be happy that way
You should be able to do both
You can but it is rare.
