My boyfriend of 3 years keeps inviting me to things and then going without me?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 3 years and the past few months he would make plans infront of me with our mutual friends and wouldn’t invite me even if other girlfriends were being invited. Sometimes he would make plans with me and then end up doing smth else. If I ask him he would just say you know you’re always invited. But the day would come and he would never text me and let me know any plans or times or else I’d get a snapchat of him already there. I get the feeling he doesn’t want me there but he won’t let us have a proper conversation about it. It feels to me he’ll end up inviting me and then making it hard for me to go by getting a taxi with his friends or not letting me know till it’s too late for me to find a way out there. I don’t know if he does it on purpose because he doesn’t want me there but I try to never pressure him. If he invites me to a lads thing where the rest mightn’t want me to go I’d say it’s okay have fun with your friends but I’ll make it clear when I’d like to go if he offers an invite. I wouldn’t mind if we still saw eachother and did things together but I feel I’m always chasing him and trying to spend time together but it usually involves us sitting in a bar or getting drunk with his friends and I just have to chase him around and try to make sure I’m ready the minute he says go. Otherwise he won’t have time for me. When he invites me last minute and I say I can’t go he acts like I’m being annoying and says he’s sad he can’t see me. I’m not an overly clingy girlfriend, if we are out together I’m okay with being apart. I get along with all his friends and it’s not like I need babying. It keeps happening over and over and everytime I have tried to bring it up he shuts it down or makes me feel like I’m being over dramatic and always upset. All I want is one conversation to sort it out and then we can enjoy our time together. but everytime I try to bring it up it ends up being a fight and I just drop it because I don’t want to lose him.

You deserve a lot better for yourself than some jackass who doesn't appreciate a good thing until it's gone. He's likely cheating on you and pretending "oh I'm so sad you can't come to hang out with my and my ex that I just told you was happening 5min ago and drop everything for me" - if he was actually sad he would have asked when YOU were free, not his ex. And you and him would go out and do stuff together, and if he told his ex 5min before hand that's another story. The fact he's able to make sure in advance his ex is free for stuff and his friends are free for stuff, but not his own fucking girlfriend who should be the most important thing in his life, drop that loser. He'll likely regret it tremendously when you do and you won't go back and tell him to fuck off and go cheat on his ex some more (cause clearly he still has feeling for her or he wouldn't be prioritizing her over you if it came down to who's free that night). There are lots of real men who don't do that shit to girls and treat them well. You deserve a man like that in your life. Go make it happen for yourself.
