If I have never hit it off with a guy before, does this mean I am unattractive or ugly?

I have never had a guy like me. Don't get me wrong, I have been hit on and complimented before. But I have never had a guy like me in the sense of hitting it off with a guy. In college, I never had a college guy interested in me-like in my classes, no guys ever expressed interest in me. Nor have I ever talked to a guy and then he tells me he is interested in dating me. Not gonna lie, it makes me depressed sometimes that I have never hit it off with a guy before considering I am in my mid twenties. Does this mean I am unattractive or ugly?

Being attracted to a woman and actually approaching her are two completely different things. The vast majority of men would approach just a fraction of the women they find attractive. There could be a billion reasons not to do it - he's shy, you have other people around you, you look busy or uninterested, the situation is appropriate, he's seeing someone. Most men get shot down 90% of the time. That's why we pick our battles where we believe we have a chance. A simple smile towards someone you like can make wonders. Most women don't get approached because to look like the have a giant neon "F*ck off!" sign on their foreheads.
