Some of the ways he treats me makes me question if I’m in a toxic and soon or already is an abusive relationship please someone help me I don’t know what to do

I am still currently with this guy and we are ok now. Every so often he will make comments that are extremely rude comment but I’ve now got a mouth on me and will stand up for myself. I appreciate everyone’s comments and I’m sorry for not giving some examples on what he’d do but I think we are ok now.

Well the fact that you are scared is your answer that yes you are probably in a toxic relationship, you should be happy and feel loved and valued not scared. , but it also comes down to what are you scared of? What are things he says to you that make you scared and feel mentally abused? Does he control you , Does he make you feel that you need to do what he tells you? If so then yes you need to dump this wack job , The sad thing is most people that get into relationships get into relationships for the wrong reasons , when a partner starts acting like they own their partner they don’t know what it means to love someone , I hate to say it but most guys do this over girls , the guy feels like he owns her and feels like she should do what he says and most girls fall for this abuse because she feels in her heart maybe he loves me and he is protecting me , and that isn’t the case at all , The truth is he is an insecure douchebag , Love can never be forced , it can only be guided , wearing each other shoes and removing selfishness is what makes love grow , when a partner feels forced then that isn’t love , I don’t really know your relationship with this guy so please give more detail , then I can help you more , You shouldn’t be scared

Anytime a relationship feels toxic, it probably is toxic. To test this assumption, ask him what makes for a quality relationship. Based on his response, you'll know whether it is toxic. If everything is about himself and controlling you, get out as quickly as you can. If your partner isn't considerate of your feelings (that doesn't mean you get to control the relationship), then he isn't being a partner.

No matter how much you hear people say "It's the woman behind the man," or "It's the woman who makes the man," never believe anyone is interested in changing for you, just as you're not about to give up something that's important to you because someone else tells you to. No one is a lump of clay, eager to be molded by anyone who comes along. Any changes made for others tends to be temporary and/or conditional. What you see is what you get. Can the person change over time? Yes, but don't waste your time waiting for someone to grow up.

Sweetheart, you can always speak with your parents, adults in your life, or go to a school counselor, police, domestic abuse line. What you have to understand everybody dealt and deal with some toxicity one way or another, but it is no excuse to harm or abuse another. If you do not feel safe in a relationship, you do not have to be in that relationship, and no, you don't owe them a reason why. What matters is that you are SAFE and you fell safe.

The best thing would be to leave him if it’s bothering you. If you have a close friend you can always talk to them about it.

Better to talk to him for his behaviour that makes you feel is abusive... if he tries to bring a change then good otherwise there is no use to continue the relationship.
