Every men has a different choice... Some want professional career wife... Other want housewife..
If I become rich and successful I want a housewife... If I end up being middle class man I want professional career women.. So she can aid in financially..
With my current lifestyle it's a "it would be nice" but I don't care much right now. I'd see more value in a second source of income, but that might change next year.
Without kids it doesn't make much a difference as long as her work doesn't get in the way of our alone time. I'm fine with cooking dinner or buying it regularly.
When I have kids I'd much rather have a housewife tho.
My wife had her degree. We had kids. She stayed home when they were young. Screw day-care!!! When the kids were in school she got another degree and started working. Balance... it worked for us. I know not everyone can do the same thing but that's how it worked out for us.
I dont want kids and i'd only pick a woman who agreed and most likely the way the relationship may work *with her agreement* i'd just work more hours and more often/more shifts than she would. Example. I work 4-5 days a week. Maybe in her job she works 2-3 days a week, or just weekends and a weekday. Happy life happy mix 😊😚

I look at my parents as the perfect example. My father always worked and provided for the family. My mother worked until they had kids and then stayed home full time to take care of the kids and home. She was always there showing she cared about my sister and me and we always knew we were the most important thing in her life. When we were old enough that we were in school full time during the day she worked part time, and when we were in high school she went back to work full time and began building a career. Today she is a vice president of a company.
To me, that is the perfect model for a healthy family. Each parent should do what is best for the family, not just what is best for themselves. Children need and deserve a real mother. I have no respect for women who put their personal ambitions above the needs of their children and family.

That poll is very surprising. GaG men have repeatedly said housewives are the best and they prefer them in different questions numerous times
Wow, I didn't know. That's horrible D: so glad I blocked! I met him on a dif question where he had a slightly crazy opinion

Lol yeah. He claims to be dating an 18 year old chick who is a "house girlfriend ". So he is just mad to see people having totally opposite views on that
LMAO I heard his girlfriend was bi and because of that she lets him have sexual activity with other girls in front of her. Even worse, he was implying that the asker need to match up to her level to get anyone. It was bad

Omg i didn't know that. He used to go around shaming girls here saying his girlfriend is so loyal and blah blah. He has also said that men like sluts only for sex and need conservative girls for dating. Just a dumb loser who thinks he is an alpha lol. Good you blocked him. But there's more men like him here
Honestly hell no I don’t want a housewife, no offense to any housewives in here but that just seems like a boring and unfulfilled life I hate being cooped up in the house all the time so I wouldn’t wish that on another person especially my spouse so to answer your question I would definitely prefer my wine to have her own aspirations and goals and not just slave around all day cooking, cleaning, and looking after children
judgmental much? Just because it "seems like a boring and unfulfilled life" to make your children a priority doesn't mean everyone finds their own children so unimportant and irrelevant. Pretty offensive if you ask me.
Never said I judged anyone I’m just saying that I don’t understand why anyone would want to aspire to be a housewife and that really is an unfulfilled life, to spend your whole life cleaning, cooking, and watching kids. Not trying to be offensive but I feel like life is just to short to want to aspire to be a housewife
So you dont think your own kids are a top priority. Wow. So what is? Selfish desires. Money? Im genuinely interested in how you can say raising kids is an unfulfilled life and not worthy of being a goal or achievement. Maybe for you but nobody asked you to do that. Were talking about a wife.
You can take care of your kids while both parents work you lokey sound stupid both my parents worked when I was younger and they were great parents and I never said raising your kids isn’t important but that shouldn’t run your whole life the only time you should dedicate your entire life to looking after your kids is when they are super young after that you should be able to enjoy other things on top of raising your kids
"both my parents worked when I was younger and they were great parents" nice assumption. Now take you're feelings out of it. Are they objectively better than say a parent who is a homemaker and home schools their kid such they get accepted to harvard at 15? And they are masters professional level at multiple hobbies? I mean lets be real, not EVERY parent is GREAT just because they didn't abuse the kid or run off... some are still shit and most mediocre.
"the only time you should dedicate your entire life to looking after your kids is when they are super young" well durr that would be creepy to dedicate your whole life to your kids when they are all in their 30s. Smh.
What do you even think a home maker does? You know they have a lot of things to do besides cooking cleaning and kids.
My parents were and still are great parents that’s not an assumption, how are you going to tell me how good or bad MY parents are 😂 and actually the kids might turn out better because they will grow up understanding what hard work is by seeing both their parents work their asses off to support the family instead of just seeing their dad run off to work while their mom is just at home all day
So objectively you think kids that are pawned off on daycare and such and get less time with parents are better parents? How strange. So parents who spend extra time and effort teaching and parenting their kids are what... objectively worse than your working parents?
I would choose housewife because I rather cook and clean for my man because he works hard as fuck for his money so I want him to come home to a clean house and food on the table
I think it depends on scenario and what is best for children and family at time. I do not think there is set answer. I would just like a loving wife and a nicely run househould however that played out.
B: Only if she has kids (not that I want kids). I don't a woman who just cooks and cleans all day, but I would require a woman willing to be a committed mother.
I'd prefer a wife who's working and we share the house chores, I know how to take care of a house so I don't see why she has to everything. Plus both working reduces the stress on one person alone being the provider.
To be straight up with you, I simply am not even thinking about it right now and so I would be the worst data point. I am fully focused on career and money at this time.
No kids. The house chores would be 50/50 split, I'd like her to cook and do laundry. She doesn't have to worry about cleaning, I have OCD and I'm very meticulous about a clean kitchen and lot of times I clean it all twice.
I prefer to feel like she's living her best life. It's why I don't want a big house or big yard. Like I want a van. Really big nice van, decked out and turned into a small house for 2 maybe 3 and we just frickin go. No lawn or high maintenance to deal with. Just life love and connection. And yes she can keep the van clean for sure I'd appreciate it
I don't mind tbh. An out-and-out housewife does kinda sound boring and unrelatable and I'd like to be involved in the house (hold) I live in and not just work 24/7. I don't mind doing chores. I guess it's down to how my partner feels.
"I guess it's down to how my partner feels." Beta male. you're still young. Check yourself. Keep this up and you will have a long bumpy ride called life instead of smooth sailing.

I know!! I’m shocked myself!
Asker , that James Bond guy is a hypocritical misogynist. He hates sexually free women yet he goes around talking about his sex adventures with sluts.
Wow, I didn't know. That's horrible D: so glad I blocked! I met him on a dif question where he had a slightly crazy opinion

For sure D: I’ll keep an eye out. Its all fine w/ me until they’re so extreme that they start attacking others

So many issues w this:
"both my parents worked when I was younger and they were great parents" nice assumption. Now take you're feelings out of it. Since this is so important to you how about you find a nice working women and become a stay at home dad then

Probably not. Both of my parents worked/are working, and that's what I considered normal growing up. I also have no interest in being a sole provider.
No I want a wife that wants a career.
getting a cleaner and cook is fairly easy
if you look at the salary for both, then what a well paid wife brings home ….
No kids. The house chores would be 50/50 split, I'd like her to cook and do laundry. She doesn't have to worry about cleaning, I have OCD and I'm very meticulous about a clean kitchen and lot of times I clean it all twice.

No, I would not like a housewife. I have no kids, so having a second income would be more important.
I would prefer my wife be happy in her chosen role regardless of what she choose. Happy wife = happy life.
I will accept my wife being whoever she wants to be. That being said, I most deffenitly would fit in better with a housewife.
I don't mind tbh. An out-and-out housewife does kinda sound boring and unrelatable and I'd like to be involved in the house (hold) I live in and not just work 24/7. I don't mind doing chores. I guess it's down to how my partner feels.

@bamesjond0069 Life is already a long bumpy ride... Dunno what else you think it could've been.
When you are a beta male life happens to you. When you are an alpha male you make life be how you want it.
