Tbh I kinda get why people in relationships might feel the need to "loyalty test" their partner. But I can alsp see why it could feel like a violation for the partner being "tested", since from their perspective its kinda like "if you trust me, then surely you wouldn't need to test me".
As a woman, I would also be rather upset if someone "tested" me. It shows that you don't trust your partner and makes you seem sneaky and dishonest.
