I was married to a wonderful, beautiful, sweet, amazing woman for 17 years... and she had no libido. She did not enjoy sex and did not understand why other people did. We were together until death did us part. I think of her with love all of the time.
There is more to a relationship than sex. There is more to sex than a relationship. Trying to make both about nothing but the other will result in dissatisfaction quickly.
If you want more happiness in your marriage, you might try adding something else to the definition of the relationship. Sure, she might still not put out, but you will be happier together than you appear to be now.63 Reply- +1 y

Menopause that’s why.. low sex drive when women gets older. This is why it’s not important to marry based on sex. I hear this a lot from married men than when the sex goes dry so does the marriage. Encourage her that you need more from her in the bedroom and in your sex life. Buy her sex clothing and encourage her to wear it. There’s no spark in your marriage because she’s not preforming the way she use to when you married her. If this falls, make a health appointment it could be depression or menopause.

I didn’t marry based on sex but I’ve been sexually active since I was 13. I’ve always had a high sex drive. I don’t know, maybe it’s abandonment issues from my childhood but intimacy is so important to me and I get none from my wife. She’s even paid for a sex worker to come over before so I didn’t get upset. I’ve done everything to try and turn her in from buying her sexy underwear and sex toys to arranging photo shoots of us. I even signed up for a porn film because she said it might turn her on.

A sex worker? Wow 😯 I wish my husband would.. at this point go see a sex therapist- and get an evaluation done on your wife to see why there’s a decline in sexual response. Intimacy isn’t the base for marriage- you lust for sex. Yes you may have a high sex drive , but this isn’t the solution for a successful marriage. When a marriage is based on sex it fails - you may need to get therapy for why you feel sex is the answer. Is it for pleasure because you love your wife or simply because you desire the satisfaction that sex gives you?

The female therapist will just blame him. His wife got what she wanted then changed the deal in accordance with Briffault's Law of anthropology. (🧐)

@kc_4308 I suggested to my wife but she didn’t want to go. She was happy how we are

@kc_4308 I had an affair ten years ago and I fantasies about how I made her feel. She used to look into my eyes with pure desire and passion. And the sex was out of this world.

@kc_4308 I’m trying to find it but it’s been so long now that it always feels like it’s just to keep me off her back. If I don’t make a move I get told “well you didn’t instigate either.”

Thats what a woman does to make the man fall in love and commit. After that she stops giving anything and becomes fat and ugly.
10 ReplyTry and romance her like you used to random flowers and stuff like that. A little effort goes a long way. Then try to kiss her in bed and put your mouth near her pussy she what she does. If she says no on a few different occasions tell her how much you miss oral.

I’ve tried believe me😢
Anonymous(18-24)+1 yEvery married guy I've fucked has the same story. It's not like, "oh I want to fuck this hot young girl," it's they don't get any sex or affection from their wives. And then they like the talking and the backrubs and the cuddling even more than the sex, so they make better lovers overall.

+1 yIt would be advisable to sit down some time and talk about this with her! And if that goes nowhere, then you'd be best seeking Marriage Counseling. Intimacy problems are known for causing breakups in Marriages.
10 Reply 1.3K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Wow, that’s a very long time! And I see you’re only 41. I’m guessing she’s close to your age or maybe younger. That’s very young for her to lose sex drive already.

I know. I don’t want to feel it’s the end of my sex life with her. But the fact she’s happy for me to see prostitutes doesn’t bode well although it has meant I can fulfill some fantasies.

Yes.
You got married? Wrong move. Statistically speaking, the sex fries up after commitment. Don't be her golden parachute, boys!

Marriage ain't about sex, man. Got plenty of sex until kids were born. Ironically kids are a great form of birth control
+1 yIt sounds like she is having an affair. However, I suggest you hire a private investigator to find out for certain. If she is cheating on you you will have the evidence to support your case in divorce court.

+1 yYou had an affair. I’m assuming kids are involved or she would have hit the road already. You messed up. As a man, cheating is basically my only dealbreaker.

+1 yPersonally I would walk away from that.
You can't fix that. Sexual desire is not something that can be negotiated in a relationship. It's either there or it isn't.00 ReplyHave yiu tried talking about these issues with her?
01 Reply- +1 y
Of course. But she avoids the subject
Anonymous(36-45)+1 ySorry to tell you but there's someone else behind the scene.
I think you're good man who keep family together and you rarely say no to her. Did see any red flags lately? Is your gut telling you something?00 ReplyJust move on or have a side piece. It will save the marriage. You are the one in need. Not her.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yWalk away or start cheating. She is breaking the agreement and even if she isn't she isn't into it

START CHEATING? Sometimes when a woman hits a certain stage of life, her hormones change drastically. This can leave a woman with a lack of desire for intimacy, and sex can even be extremely painful for her. The solution is not for him to “break the agreement.” The solution is for them to sit down and have an adult discussion about the situation. The solution is for them to work it out reasonably. Not be unfaithful. Next time, have the balls to say your opinion and not hit the “answer anonymously” button. You’re a fucking coward.
Opinion Owner+1 y@Katielattee you dont really understand guys. most dont care about being in a relationship and regular sex might be the most important thing to them. She doesn't care enough to proactively address the issue so what benefit is he getting from their sham marriage? Maybe women should only marry other women who want the same things that they do,. Men usually dont want the same thing
- +1 y
Or maybe you don’t understand men. Or marriages. The question asker makes no indication that they have tried to talk about it. Maybe he should COMMUNICATE better to his wife rather than “break the agreement.”
Opinion Owner+1 y@Katielattee and how does this affect your life? His wife failed and since it is the only thing that most guys care about then I say ghost her. Tell me why a man would stay in a relationship with a women like that? What else does he get out of it?
- +1 y
Not everyone gets married for sex. If that’s your view on it, you need some serious help.
- +1 y
@Katielattee I have tried to talk about it with her many times.
- +1 y
Thank you for responding. Have you tried going to counseling or sex/couples therapy? As I stated before, a woman’s hormones change drastically and that can lead to a serious change in libido
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yshe's either cheating on you or she has some kind of mental problem going on
