Like what the heck. There’s this woman that said that she wanted to marry him and have his babies. He killed like 60 people or more in Russia.

I think the reason why many people find serial killers attractive is because serial killers seem very unique to them. Well, a unique person would find a unique way to express the love, right? Serial killers seem powerful. Unique and independent. Such personality traits are not something that can be found in all people. Wouldn't you like it if someone who killed many people in cold blood sees you differently from others and loves you, it makes you feel special. You even get into the God complex. So, all the people who write love letters to serial killers, who adore them, they want to feel that special feeling. Being the one for those killers. And there's another kind of people who make themselves look like psychopaths and think it's so cool. Ohh, you love Richard Ramirez, you have such a unique taste! Are you a sociopath, how cool! Whoa, you love Ted Bundy, okay, you're scary, powerful and different than any other people. I mean, come on, some things are too obvious. Pathetic.

I mean, that's only my opinion.

I’ve heard this as it relates to women finding Ted Bundy to be attractive, despite knowing he’s a serial killer. Also, not just physically attractive, but there’s something about his aura or personality that makes him attractive to many women.

Ted Bundy was a man who killed and raped many women specifically, which I bring up because women still find attraction towards him after knowing his history in killing many and raping many women.

Why? Well, they see Ted Bundy as this dangerous, mysterious, and dark figure. There’s an element of rebelliousness in him that women like in men in certain orientations and amounts.

For a long time, evolutionary, men were risk takers and rule breakers to some extent.

Ted Bundy is playing out some bastardized evolutionary factor that makes women like him.

He’s dangerous, he’s rebellious, he’s mysterious, he’s infamous/famous, etc.

Those women who do crazy shit like this, are victims of the guy's manipulation. Most women, in general, are very empathetic. They feel bad for the guy, and are hopeful of changing him. They take guys like him as a challenge. Most have the "bad boy" fetish, or just had avoidant parents. Studies have proved that women who get into toxic relationship, usually had parents who were cold towards them in infancy. These girls (and guys) turn out to be "ambivalent lovers". They are highly insecure and are convinced that no other guy would love them. Also, *some* of these serial killers are very charismatic, the girl would be clueless and before she could comprehend that he is toxic, she would be too deep in it to get out, and would have already fallen in love with him.

It's the unknowns and the exploration into the dark recesses of the mind. Not very many people get to see that side of the mind often or at all so it stirs up curiosities among normal folks. Some women get involved with serial killers just to see where it leads, others are aroused by the possibilities, and then there's the ones that think they can "fix" the person.

I've never spoken with a serial killer before but I have had conversations with the deranged, psychopathic, and criminally insane in mental hospitals as part of outreach programs. It's definitely an insight into what can go wrong within the fragile human mind and is interesting. So, I can't blame many of these women.
