My ex and I broke up about a week ago during a heated disagreement. He got mad at me because I was pressuring him to talk to me when he was going through something and was shutting me out.
After we broke up, he's been running *extremely* hot and cold with me. We got into an argument after we broke up because I went to a bonfire and there was a picture posted of me with another guy (he was just a friend). I asked him why he gave a sh*t when he was the one who broke up with me. He told me he obviously still cares about me. He then deleted me off Facebook because he didn't want to see me post with other guys.
After that, still hot and cold. He has fluctuated between ignoring me, getting mad at me, and being cordial with me. He even messaged me about three days ago helping me with something, then went cold again.
Our mutual friend told me he's been having a rough go. I've been extremely sad and depressed, myself.
I know he has a lot of abandonment trauma, and I feel like he left me before I could leave him, type of scenario because the second we are head over heels in love, he gets distant and cold.
I have a bunch of things still at his place but he's been prolonging me picking them up. He'll either ignore my request to get my things altogether, say he's busy, or tell me he will "let me know". He recently told me I could get my things when he returned from visiting his step mom out of town, and he'd message me. He came back and never messaged me at all.
