Well, obviously everyone has their own very personal list of things they need in a relationship/from a partner & you know yours better than anyone. However, I am currently in an incredibly fulfilling & exciting relationship with a man I adore, who happens to feel the same way about me. I feel grateful every day for the special bond we share & it just keeps getting better as we grow together. BUT that's not to say that keeping your own hobbies, friends, and interests is not just as important IN a partnership as it is when single. You each need to have your own life apart from one another, or you could end up burning out on couple life. Also, consider that when you met, you were drawn to one another because of who they were-their passions, quirks and the things they could teach you and expose you to that wasn't on your radar. If you INVEST TOO much in just spending time together, then how will you continue to find things to talk about, grow and learn and change as an individual? Without being a complete person, you could become depressed, resentful or he could lose interest because you are not the woman he met and fell for. Enjoy and cultivate together time, but never forget that you are just as important as "WE"

Hi there my parents have been married 35 years I've been married over 5 years in my experience when you have true love everything takes care of itself dont get me wrong its important to communicate often if you find a guy that you know you can say anything to them and all they do is hold you tighter to make you feel better in my opinion you have a keeper. In my opinion this world is horrible but having a special person to share your life with makes the world a better place. I genuinely hope you find that guy i swear to you that guy is out there but dont be afraid to get him and let him know how you feel many guys value personality over looks a persons character lasts a lot longer than their looks.
