I wanna know if that shit happens more often than I thought, or is it just my ass😂

Soo last month my ex called me out of the blue at fucking 11 pm on a weekday. He does not know what to do and if I can help.
First, I thought it was something serious... but then he told about this woman.
She is now so distant and told about how he met her, the situation, and a lot of things that I didn't wanna know.
I was even so speechless that this was really happening, that I didn't even hang up lmao

Whatever I still gave him a sincere advice, and yeah I just saw that it worked out, good for them.
I mean, he truly seemed happy talking about her, and she is really nice after what he told me tho

But I can't be the only one.. right?

Oh and don't get me wrong, I'm happy for them and truly wish them all the best. It's just that we just separated like 3 months ago and I was not prepared for that kind of talk lol Also I would have never called an ex

My last ex was trying to get back with me after I broke up with her; even after she found someone.


I convinced her, and provided her with advice on why to stay with him over me and what she should do to handle the situation. I am an alpha type while the guy was a good beta type. And I told her how to extract what she needs from him and how he is a much better person for her than I am.


Some people just want the best for their ex…

it's a ploy to try to get you back. just keep your guard up around him and expect some shit to happen where he calls you again a few more times then tells you how he broke up with her because things didn't work out.

Yes. I was a dumb kid and gave him the advice rather than cussing his ass out. Then he asked me to attend his family reunion as a backup plan in case she didn't show. (I didn't but considered it like a dummy). And then when they didn't workout, he gave me the valentines day gift that was meant for her 🙄 I was deep in his pool of toxicity

Yup, drunk and just being a pain, full of self-pity. It wasn't me who ended it between us but that did turn out to be a great idea and a big relief. He started comparing me to her in a manner that instantly reminded me of why I was so glad that we were over. I blocked him and that was the last contact. I still wince, sometimes, when the phone rings late at night, but I guess that's common. Late night calls are mostly stressful.
