Do you like holding hands with your loved one?

Do you like when someone asks to take your hand or a loved one just snakes there’s up into yours?

Holding hands was a pretty big deal to me when younger. I remember as a teen imagining someone I loved taking my own just because they wanted to. These days it’s just natural.

I’ve noticed a lot of people don’t. Which can mean anything depending on where people are in a relationship.

I love holding hands weather it is with the girl that I might be with it that time whether it's a friend there it's my kids whether it's a stranger if they're in trouble or something has to happen I'll grab a hold of their hand There's Something Beautiful about it and there's nothing wrong with it I'm not afraid to hold hands with anybody I look at it like this years ago when Indians would meet each other they would put their hand up by the elbow of the other person so their arm would touch the forearm of the other person that is a way to feel other people's energy when those two parts of the arm touch each other it's the same thing with the hands you can feel the person's energy and who they are and I think that's beautiful

Yes I do like to hold hands in an appropriate setting, like walking down the street or sometimes sitting watching a film, but we're usually snuggled up doing that anyway.
The times I'm not keen on it is if I am doing something that makes it difficult to hold hands. This might seem totally sensible, but I had a girlfriend in the past that continually wanted to hold my hand regardless of what I was doing, man was so annoying it's just a clingy trait which I find very off putting.

I have to be in the mood. Holding hands with someone always felt... awkward? I don't mind holding hands for a few minutes (or if it's cold in the winter, to warm my hands up), but honestly, it's never been my thing. My hands always wind up getting hot and sweaty... eww.

... I know; I'm weird. I'm pretty sure most people on here already knew that from the getgo. Even in the past when I was in relationships, I barely held hands with my exes or crushes; if I did, it was only for a short timeframe. Thankfully, they didn't seem to mind or care so it worked out for everyone, haha. I've never been with a guy that asked or wanted to really hold my hand.

We used to hold hands more often early on, but then we held babies and toddlers and children.

We still hold hands, but I really prefer tucking my hand into the crease of my husband's elbow while he bends his arm. Our bodies are closer that way and he often places his other hand on top of mine. This is usually how we walk together or attend gatherings. I love when the room knows I'm his. ❤

Touch would be important to me in a relationship. Hand holding, hugs, kisses, affectionate touch in other gestures, it really speaks volumes as to the closeness of the relationship or how close its becoming. Plus, it's soothing, and it likely may be natural in a relationship to do it. It's sometning I'd really enjoy and appreciate, especially having experienced little of this in my life, rather, I've been in no relationships in my life that I'd consider to be real. I had a first kiss, but it wasn't real, if that makes sense. I want to have a *real* one someday...

I love holding hands but I'm not sure I associate the deepest of sentiments to it. Yet my wife and I hold hands all the time still when we're walking around. Our friends tease us and call us a cute couple since it's kind of unusual in Japan for people our age to still do it but I like it. I'm usually the one reaching out for her hand though.

Hands interlocked together while were walking tbh makes me feel not only safe and protected, but I also feel as I can trust my partner. I'm the type that loves hand holding in relationships. Basically I'm the type that shows love physically, verbally, and emotionally. Plus I love to cook and bake so he needs to always have an appetite lol😅

I miss that feeling. Yes, it means a lot to me. Holding hands feels very intimate, electric even, especially the first few times it happens. Over time, it feels like safety and comfort. I love that feeling. I want to be an old granny and still hold his hand.

So my family were not huggers, Touchers or showed any or much affections. So now I tend to be a bit clingy at times, because I never was shown a lot of physical love when young.

and in many different ways, different settings as well...

and most of the times is not even a "thought or conscious choice" it's just happens naturally... hands just reach for each other while we might be aware of it, or not... and it is great either way

When dating a woman, yes I do like holding hands.  I know a married couple, who are in their mid-fifties and they've been married for 30 years, and they still hold hands. I think it is cool.

MOST DEFINITELY 💯% That is just my thing, something that I have been doing my whole life. It trips me out when I see couples walking together and not holding hands, makes me feel like they're not trying to be together or they want to confuse people.
