I'm turning 30 and most of my friends relationships are starting to fall apart why?

Most of them are getting divorced already and looking for their 2nd partners or they are single mothers

I think because over time both partners stop doing things they used to in the beginning when they were first dating. But also realize that life gets in the way as far as work, bills, kids, etc. I’m the beginning none of that ever exist unless someone already has a child, yes bills are always there I get that. But in the beginning you go out, have fun, that’s all you ever do. As time goes on things become routine, same sex positions. Work, eat, sleep, back to work. I think women may start to miss the man more emotionally if he’s always working. But then a lot of women want a man who makes a lot of money which means working a lot, yet they complain he works too much. Events w the kids keep that relationship going as far as little Bobby’s sports games, Sarah’s soccer games, etc. But as they get older, find their own journey in life the parents don’t seem to spend that much time together. Husband may work more, mom does her hobbies. Husband comes home, hungry, sleepy. Wife cooks, he east, showers, goes to sleep now she’s alone. There’s a lot of reasons.

The answer is in your question because you're turning 30. Women initiate the overwhelming majority of divorces, I think a big reason why is they believe they can live their entire lives as they were still in their early 20s. A large part of this is thanks to social media and the perception of ever lasting youth.

Probably because they got married to just get married. Same with having kids. Lot of people make big decisions without thinking about the longterm consequences of them with the wrong partner.
Also, people are more selfish in relationships these days - think there is often a lack of empathy.

I think because some people got married too young and they finally realized that they weren’t ready for the commitment that is required in a marriage and some people ended up marrying bc of social expectations so they end up just settling
