I my partner is talking about having kids but I don’t feel like he’s in love with me yet (if at all). I know he cares for me and obviously I’ll talk about this with him, but I’m just curious what others think about it too.

Me and my partner would need to be financially, mentally, and physically ready to have kids. If the relationship isn't strong then adding in another member isn't going to fix that, itll only make it worse. We will start to resent eachother and worst of all resent the child even though they had no choice in the matter and thats not fair to anybody.

Absolutely. That's a huge responsibility to share together, so I have to feel like we have something very strong that has the biggest chance of keeping us together for the rest of our lives. It's also important to me that we get married if we're going to have children.

I wouldn't have children with someone I don't love
Doesn't that make sense?
