I love guns myself so I absolutely would not mind.
I would feel uncomfortable as guns scare me.
I'm not into guns myself but I still wouldn't care.

No problem. I'm getting married in 10 days, and my fiance (who is moving in with me) will be acquiring a wife who is the custodian of a pretty sizeable Dead Relative Gun Collection. I'm not going to mention how many, but there are a lot of them. All but one is in good working condition, all secured, and none of which would strike terror in the heart of anyone. So the one gun he is bringing into the household is not an issue, and can keep all the others company. I grew up around guns, have been involved in shooting sports since I was a girl, and know how to handle them safely. So does he.
@ChrisMaster69
congrats. coming very soon!
@Still-alive Thanks :-)
I was raised with guns in my household, everyone is trained and knows how to handle a firearm. They’re trusted and it is legal, so I was comfortable with it.
I would have to trust my partner and know that they are trained and they are legal as well. My current boyfriend is in the military, he’s trained, has pistol and rifle qualifications, and has shot guns his whole life, so I trust him and I would be fine with guns in the house.
If I’m even dating a girl she is going to need to be okay with firearms.

Nah, I am terrified of them so they wouldn't be allowed in our house especially since there are kids involved. If he wants to store them somewhere else that isn't here and go hunting or whatever that's on him, but they won't be in our home.
I don't have issues with guns. I know how to use them & trained... So it shouldn't be an issue.
I would never be with someone so insecure and paranoid.
I fail to see how owning a gun somehow automatically makes one secure and paranoid by default.

It's not about the tools.. its about how they are used.
i'd feel safer.
