Use the 7 year rule. Our bodies are replaced every 3 months, every cell.
-If they dont repeat it after 7 years and were given the opportunity to, (in relationship, and offered by some guy that 'is' worthy for the cheat, opportunity) . So they prove after 7 years that they can withstand 'valid' opportunity.
Also, to easily prevent this, as a guy, you don't date unless the girl/woman is their best selves in the present moment. For example, if they could lose weight, .. or improve something significantly during dating you, they are not their best selves. This leaves you open to hypergamy which 'in my opinion' is the leading cause of cheating. To level up to the next guy.
Being their best selves they will meet their best options. So you will feel more confident you are more 'likely' their first choice. Fortunately age declines the value so their best selves will often be who they are then keeping you at the first choice.
This should help out a lot.
I don't know. But I wouldn't trust someone who cheated. Cheating is cowardly, dishonest, dishonorable and as selfish as stealing. It shows bad character. Terrible ethics.
Like a drug addict, a cheater's appetite is more important than the harm they cause to others. All they care about is themselves.
Cheating is a BIG lie, and I wouldn't trust a liar. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

Yea, it's the players who usually make the most patient and loyal husband's. They already played out their days being young and don't feel like they have time they need to make up for.
They also know how lucky they are when they do finally find someone amazing. At least, a lot of them do. Certainly not all.
Mostly yes, I can speak regarding men, if there is a man who can cheat meaning he has the sexual marketplace value (SMV) to attract multiple women, then he has no reason to be loyal to one. Men are in general as loyal as their options. You give any so called "loyal" man, a million US Dollars, a blue checkmark on social media and a nice car, and you see how loyal he really is.
I think a person can make a mistake and never do it again but if it becomes a pattern then yes, once a cheater always a cheater.
You may not cheat again, but you are still a cheater because you did it.
Yea I think it most likely is
