The only people that remain cheaters are selfish by nature, and have absolutely no guilt and do not reflect on lessons to be learned from previous relationships.
For example. I cheated once. I was young and stupid. After everything was said and done, I looked back and realized that I cheated cause she did. And I was unhappy with being her boyfriend. That being said, the better option would have been to simply end the relationship.

No, it isn't. People cheat for various reasons. Someone that cheats in one relationship may not cheat in another.
It's like getting slim after people become overweight. Very tough but a few succeed in the longest-term.

Essentially. They may not be a cheater after your relationship is over; but if you ever get back with them they are just as likely to cheat on you again. The only way to change a cheater is to dump them and never go back.
