I come from a culture where "The man is in charge" or "be submissive to the man" thing is prevalent. Luckily I found a guy who values my opinion but my bestie is almost ruining all that.

Example of what she did: We are at a cafe & I'm under my menses & craving icecream & he's ready to buy it but she's like "it's not good for you under this condition" & then asks him, "Do you approve?" & He's like "she's right" & that's how I didn't get it.

Another time, I chose a restaurant & she asked him "Do you approve?" & we ended up at his own choice. Before she started hanging out with us I was having my way to a large extent. I'm afraid he will start being like most of the Authoritative guys around.

How do I stop her from influencing him? I don't want to hurt her feelings since she's my best friend.

OK, u asked our opinion. 1st of all, she's NOT a friend!! 2nd, why isn't your man stepping in and telling her to mind her own damn business. "My girl made a choice and that's what we're going to do." 3rd I hate to say this but sounds like to me she likes your man and is flirting with him while making u look stupid. Again... not a friend!! Keep him, dump her!!! by the way, I was reared the same way. It's a good way to live as long as the 2 of u know the boundaries and don't allow others to affect your relationship. Good luck!!
