Why did he wanted the younger woman?

As some of you know my story of Juan Longoria yes my childhood- highschool crush. We never spoken before only in letter we weren't never involved in a relationship with each other we just gazed and glanced at each other and smile that's it nothing else. The one time I went to visit the town I grew up in as a child I came across Juan Longoria at the restaurant I tough I had forgot about him over the years yes literally it have been literally years that I have not seen Juan after a few months ago we bump into each other but no word was said. I decided to write to him and I even made his favorite brownies and mail it to him a week after I had send the letter. But sadly apparently he is going to get remarried to a woman that's much younger then I I am actually 29 not 21 Juan Longoria he is 30 now and sadly nothing. I am successful but sadly I will not be able to share my success with Juan Longoria as I did picture myself remarrying him. How can I control my emotions and forget about Juan Longoria?

Many men are not very open and vocal about their sexual desires and preferences but a recent study conducted confirms that men prefer younger women even if they are much older in age. Women, on the other hand, are more comfortable with someone close to their own age or slightly older. They tend to prefer sexual partners in their twenties regardless of their own age.

oh, yeah and you are right about all those blogs and studies, etc. Not all men, but the majority of men prefer younger women (myself included). I even tried to date women my age or older, to see if I could do it just to meet a standard, but when I'm honest with myself and others, it's the younger women I have a much better time with, and better chemistry.

hmmmm I don't know. I do know that for me if I'm scrolling through questions, and I answer one straight out of the feed, I don't have the little icons for posting a photo, video, or link. But if I click on the question or "open in a new tab", then I see the whole question, all the answers posted so far, and I get the little icons to post additional content.

Time and acceptance. You’ve spent a lot of time liking this guy, so it’s going to be hard to get over, but you have to accept that you missed your chance. You never spoke to him, never made a move and that’s something you have to come to terms with. It’ll get easier as time passes, and next time you are interested in a guy, don’t be shy or fearful and let him know. You don’t want to miss an opportunity again.

Your words hit me so hard and yes you are absolutely right. I should of said something 18 years ago to him. My shyness got in the way. Plus I move out of state when I graduate from high school. We live in different states.

I totally get it. I think we all have that person we wish we did things differently with and can’t help but wonder “what if”. But getting older also means growing and learning from our mistakes so that we don’t repeat them in the future, and your situation is an example of that. There will be another Juan in your future, and when you meet that guy I hope you find the courage to tell him how you feel if he doesn’t do it first. Putting yourself out there (especially as a shy person) is very scary, I wouldn’t take away from that. But when you do something bold and brave, regardless of the outcome you will be proud of yourself for at least trying.

I know it hurts now, but time and distance will help. Remember that what we want at a given moment is not always what is best for us. Timing didn’t work out in this case.

There are reasons why a man, especially one without children, might go for a younger woman. But don’t worry, there are also men who will seek women closer to their age. Time is on your side. Just try to move on so your heart will be open for a man who will desire you as much as you will desire him, and use the time until then to keep healing from your previous relationship and growing stronger.

I don’t think you can easily control the feeling of sadness or disappointment. Just give yourself time, and don’t doubt that good things, including romance, can happen in the future.

You never had a real relationship with the guy. Remember that everythng you think and feel about him is based on a fantasy that you have created for yourselI real life, he may be a deluxe jerk! Find a real boyfriend and you'll be saying "Juan Who?"

Sir my case is different Juan Longoria did like me well when I was young of course but times had changed. My case is different because apparently he doesn't like me back. I just have to accept and live miserable.

Men don't always want omeone who is "just like them." Sometimes, they want someone younger because it is a misguided effort to hold on to their youth. Maybe he isn't ready to acknowledge that he is getting older and a yonger woman will help him to remain in denial for a bit longer.

1. You don't "have to" do anything. It is all a matter of choices.

2. Living miserable is a choice.

3. I would recommend that you learn some lessons from this experience. You seem to have invested a great amout f your emotions into the idea of a relatioship with this guy when anyone else would say that you got yourself involved too much, too quick. You were not careful to protect your heart and that is your responsibility but the good news is that you can change that! You can protect your heart and learn to proceed more slowly. . . or you can choose to remain miserable.
