Would you forgive your girlfriend some tiny mistakes if she stays loyal and caring to you?

My boyfriend argued with me about my less of motivation in the past year, as I have much bigger potential and I don’t use it to the fullest. Then he couldn’t sleep because of guilt and call me to say sorry. He argued about the right thing, I was still hurt though.

Then he called me and said “ I am sorry babe, I shouldn’t have hurt you. You are the most caring person in the world for me.”

Of course. Who among us is perfect? We're all going to make mistakes, hurt each other's feelings (often unintentionally), and otherwise do the wrong thing. Relationships take work, and sometimes require forgiveness or sacrifices. That should be the expectation.

Obviously there are big breaches of trust that aren't forgivable - there are lines that you cannot cross and expect to keep your relationship - but that's not what you are talking about here, and so you're going to have some disagreements and arguments at times, but it's important that you BOTH take some accountability and are BOTH prepared to forgive each other, and yourselves, when this happens, and work to do better in the future.

I kinda felt like maybe he felt sorry not because of his love to me but because he said I am the most caring person to him and he shouldn’t have hurt for me. I was wondering how important is it for men to have a woman that is very caring and loving and if that’s a trait that can keep him attached to me along with other things…

Yes, that's very important.

Most men have hardly anyone who actually cares about him outside of his parents and maybe siblings (and some don't even have those). Men NEED to be cared about, but lots of men simply don't have that at all, so it's something most men need and value. That doesn't make us perfect - we still have our flaws and weaknesses, and sometimes you're going to suffer a bit from some of those - just as men suffer from women's flaws and weaknesses at times - but if he's a decent guy at all, then he's going to value the fact that you care about him.
