Would you break up with your partner if you didn’t like their friend?

This friendship is kind of weird , like the friend is very clingy to your partner and your partner kind of prioritizes them , they became friends after you were in a relationship with your partner and now your partner and this friend act like they are these best friends and planning getaways together and when they get together the friend is constantly up in your partners space like they are these best friends forever and calling your partner everyday almost like they are gay or something , I asked my partner if she was gay and told my partner that her friendship is weird and kind of made it clear that I don’t like her friendship with this other girl and my girlfriend gets mad at me like I am controlling her , which is not the case at all cuz my girlfriend has other friends that are normal friends but this friendship is just weird to me and I am at a point where i feel this friendship is going to tear us apart , I try to accept it and think to myself maybe I am just being crazy but my gut tells me otherwise , Anyone else go through this kind of shit with their partner? Have you dumped someone because of their friendship with someone else?

No, I would never do such a thing... and my take has nothing to do with the case you mentioned

if I end up in a relationship it is with the person I am with, which is one... she is going to be my priority, not her friends, now, if for whatever reason I do not like her friends then I will just be less involved with them and I will be more civil about just to get along enough, not pretending... just keeping it neutral

now, if she had some kind of weird dynamics with friends... then the chances are that we would not get in a relationship in the first place, her and I...

so yeah, it greatly depends on the very specific circumstances of each case, so far... I have not had any issues with the friends of my partners as they have been quite normal friendships with no major drama
