As someone who's experienced long term illness I'll tell you that my wife didn't or couldn't understand and honor her vows pertaining to in sickness and in health.

As soon as I got sick she became disrespectful, lazy and refused sex. Even though I was still able to provide financially for the family due to my investing skills and my insurance. She's bled me dry financially though after several years and now we can barely pay the bills but still she refuses to work.

I can't even get the bitch to keep a clean house or cook and she's out fucking other men. It's a living hell. I literally collapsed on the kitchen floor trying to keep the place clean for the kids despite my illness.

Never trust a woman not to turn on you in a moment of weakness. If I knew how she'd be when I realized I was ill I would have killed myself and kept my dignity. Now I'm bedridden most of the time and can't even end it. It's a living hell.

What little energy I can muster goes to caring for our children while she's out banging her boyfriend. The only thing I'm hanging on for is helping those kids get to 18 and out on their own. I love those kids, but as I deteriorate it's getting harder to keep up with them. Gotta at least hang on until they're in school.

So yea, this is why you shouldn't show weakness around women.

Yes.
We men are not the sex-starved dogs women make us to be; and admittedly we are not the best at communicating certain things or show weaknesses.
When I come home from a very bad day, the last thing on my mind is to play the panky; and likewise, I don't share with my wife unless I've found a viable solution to my current problem.
It's not because I don't trust her, but because she's already got many things to worry herself, and I don't want to add extra weight.
