Boyfriend is still mad at me after apologizing?

The other day me and my boyfriend were playing around with each other. I guess I played a bit too much and ended up annoying him with something stupid I said as I joke. He took it personally and got mad at me, started banging things and when I realized he was upset I apologized and said I was joking. He's still upset. I tried hugging him and kissing him but he doesn't kiss or hugs me back even though he doesn't push me either. He seems very distant every time we text each other and the other day left me on read for a whole day and in the evening said he was very busy with work. What else should I do? He seems to still be upset at me

I don't know what it was you did, but as long as the rest of the relationship is fine? give him time. Different people take different amounts of time to get over silly things.
