If you're partner lied to you about something while you were on break would you dump them?

So me in my girlfriend have promises to be honest with each other about everything in our life. My girlfriend and I took a short break 3 months ago she ended up really wanting me back. So we got back together after along talk she randomly promised me she has never slept with anyone else but me her whole life.

I ended up finding out today she lied to my face and that the guy she seen for 1 month she slept with. I don't 100% really care since I do feel like since I'm the only guy she been with that she needs to experiences other guys etc. Agin I don't really care that she slept with the guy but we had a conversation about him and she lied to my face. My girlfriend knowns being honest is something thats really important to me and that if I find oneie then I just won't truest you anymore and will doubt almost anything you say. In the past year of my life I haven't told one life not even white lies since life has changed me. I'm always honest about my feeling but try voicing how I feel in a caring none hurtful way.

Update I check the text I've seen and she may have seen him this month while we were dating. She told me they were friends but her whole friend group cut him off after he cursed evilness out. The text messages says she will not be taking him back but from what I seen she may lied to me and have been dating him this whole time after telling me she wasn't and were just friends now since he's in her friend group. Will talk to her tm about it if true anything between us even friendship may be gone

She was probably afraid of your response, and unfortunately fear makes people lie about dumb shit. But at the end of the day it wasn’t cool for her to do, especially knowing how important honesty is to you, so you should tell her that and get it off your chest. Your relationship isn’t always going to be a cakewalk and flowery. Sometimes your partner won’t like the things you have to say and vice versa. Hell it may even hurt her, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t need to be discussed, especially if it’s hurt or upset you. I think once your feelings are out in the open, then you two can work to move past it. But no progress will be made when there’s that elephant in the room.

I've been with her for 7 years so she knownw my personality I have offer to let her sleep around before to explore herself as long as she's honest with me. We have had our up n downs before jm the type to fight for someone I love till I feel like there isn't anyway hope. I have only ever given up on her truly once in our whole relationship and that was after dealing with a lot

Update my dump her now as I check the text I've seen and she may have seen him this month after texting me they won't talking anymore. The text do say she won't see him agin and doesn't want him back. Something about someone dying and that's why she seem him but if I turns out she slept with him this month while with me we done

I totally get you, like you aren’t wrong for giving benefit of the doubt and still giving her a chance. If I were you I would confront her about the whole thing, from knowing she slept with him to even the text you just saw. See what she has to say about it and decide your next moves from there. One thing about relationships (as you already know) is that trust is the biggest factor, and if you can’t trust her then there’s no point. Even if you’ve been together for 7 years, that isn’t grounds to stay in that relationship when she’s doing wrong in present time, you know?
