Pregnancy and boyfriend?

My boyfriend has stopped liking any of my post on Facebook or photos that he’s tagged in or have anything to do with the pregnancy. But likes everyone else’s that has to go with pregnancy. He’s been really distant lately and has really nothing to do with it in general. I don't know what to think or what to do. It seems like he stopped caring about me since I got pregnant.

A man's true feelings for you and children in general are often exposed when you get pregnant.

When he desires you he will be excited and anxious. When he has mixed feelings about you and being a father there will be hesitancy but some aupport. When he does not want you nor children, he will withdraw from the pregnancy entirely, and even further not assist with newborn care after birth.

Be very careful and pay attention to his actions (not words). If he wants to go nursery shopping, if he asks about appointments and symptoms, if he talks about the pregnancy and parenting with eagerness and excitement. If he doesn't, he may have only planned to be with you temporarily out of codependency and the pregnancy shocked him out of cruise mode. Some men get with women to past time, not because theyre in love. If he fits this description you would have to prep to leave him unfortunately. He may want the comfort of a woman but not the commitment of a family with YOU.

He sounds a lot like what you just said. He doesn’t care about appointments or how I’m feeling. He’s very shut off with me since the pregnancy was found out.

It sounds like he isn't ready to be a father. It's unfair that he is treating you like this, it doesn't seem like he is being a boyfriend at all. Tell him he needs to be an active part of your pregnancy or that you should break up.

I have and he says he’s just nervous which I get but it’s not getting any better.

You need to have a serious conversation with him and get him to tell you what's going on

You shouldn't accept that though. If he is going to be an active father he needs to tell you now, it seems like he doesn't want to be involved and in that case you need to cut him off.

I just didn’t want to leave another kid not seeing there father. I left my ex bc of the same thing but worse way worse.

You have to think about if you being a relationship with the father is best for the kid though. The kid can still see the dad even if you're split up. If you guys are in a broken relationship, it will be bad for the child.

It’s hard when you’re supposed to be the provider. Must not be mentally prepared.
If he’s stressed he may want to just be depressed, if you make him feel more obligated it could backfire.
So I would suggest making it out as a team effort don’t put everything on him but make sure he knows you need him.

I have a kid from a previous relationship and have all responsibilities with her and have said 1000 times that I just need him there emotionally I can raise two kids alone if he’s not ready rn. I just need him to be there for me

Don’t let him pressure you into an abortion. In case you did not know…. in both fluids there is full genetic 🧬 code. At the point of Conception in Womb there is Identity, therefore, Life. It’s alive so please recognize that is criminal to abort a fully genetically designed child at Conception in the womb.

I’m already 23 weeks along way past the point of him wanting one. He says he wants the baby but is nervous but doesn’t show any interest in our relationship

Hopefully, he has good sense and financial responsibility does not require Court order. Consider this now and plan as if it does. Talk to momma or dad or someone with wisdom and experience.

I have my daughter from a previous relationship and have full financial responsibility with her. So that’s not the problem. I’ve told him 1000 times I really just need him emotionally. I raised my daughter along. With no emotional support. The only really hard part was the no emotional support. And that’s the main thing I need from him

If he is not a proud poppa now then probably not. For you two to be together would just hurt what you might have now. Talk to him and let him know you and the baby are a package deal. He can not have one without the other.
