I don't feel that heart-throbbing sensation with my boyfriend. What should I do?

Hello. I have a boyfriend and we've been dating for 2.5 years. He's my first official boyfriend, even though I have experience in several unofficial relationships in the past. And in those relationships, I have heart-throbbing sensations where you feel butterflies for no reason, feelings like flying up in the sky just by talking with him, things like that. I love my current boyfriend and do think he's for the long-term. He's super nice and gentle, even though he's not that handsome or physically attractive. He's literally my best friend and lover at the same time. However, sometimes I do miss the excitement and the adrenaline. I feel like I don't feel like that with him, even though he makes me laugh everyday. I wouldn't let him go just because of this reason, but I'm also confused of what I should do. Bcs I often fantasize about being in a romantic love story with someone with the excitement and everything, even though I'm already in a relationship. It's like I'm not satisfied or something. I don't know. What do you think?
