Girlfriend lied about past?

My girlfriend said she only hooked up with 2 people from our town before me. I saw in her phone a name with our town name next to it in her contacts. The messages were short and a couple years ago but I’m still mad. Why did she hide this guy? I wouldn’t care if she had told me the truth, I didn’t care about the others. I know it was before me and I shouldn’t care, I care more that she lied to me or hid it. Am I crazy? Also why does she still have the contact saved?
