I’m a romantic. I like holding hands, hugs, cuddles, kisses 😘 and just being close together while going for walks or watching a movie. I like to just randomly hug him from behind or sit on his lap and give shower his face with kisses. I like to text him sweet naughty messages throughout the day to let him know he’s on my mind and I cannot wait to see him again. I like to write him love letters on special days and sing him a song 🎶 whenever our song plays on the radio. I love a romantic! Romance is not dead.
So sweet!
I feel that romance is very important in relationships. It is a way to show your love and gratitude toward your partner. Yes, you don't have to always go over the top but, gestures like buying flowers, having a private dinner, or any kind of quality time together is always good.
I also feel being romantic works both ways. These are special moments where you bond with your partner. And everyone has their own way of doing it. Just never stop showing your partner how important they are to you. You don't have to wait until Valentine's Day to buy them flowers. Take care of him/her and you will also be taken care of.
Well said
Romance is VERY important to me!!! 😍
Having said that, I'm not going to come straight out of that gate being romantic.
... HOWEVER, I might dip a few toes in cautiously within the first month. And I hope that you would be willing to venture into the unknown with me as well.
(When I do this, it's basically a test. If I get zero response from the girl, I usually lose interest and just move on.)
I don't like tests, but i guess that's a good way to feel someone out
@ShaTTeredMasterpeace Oh, I didn't mean it like that. I don't like tests, either. But if a girl is completely shut off to anything romantic, do you really think that she would be a good partner?
Nah I get it and I agree
Okay. Thanks! 🙏
Thank you for the MHO!
I think a sweet guy who tries to make me feel special is appealing, like one guy would always do small gestures like buy me carrot juice or bubble gum or take his jacket off for me or edit my essays or give me rides to KFC, even though I bought my own food, I loved that.
where are these woman where i live man because they do not exist for me xD lol.

It is quite important to me. It's a way to get closer to my girlfriend. It gives a reason to get dressed up and go out or stay home have a candle light dinner with some music playing. We might slow dance together. For me it's a way to slow things down, de-tress hopefully get away from social media and remember good times my girlfriend and I have had together.
Perfect
It's extremely important, but I think it also depends on the person's love language.
For me personally my LL is personal time and sex. I love when someone will go out of their way to plan a date to spend time with me, it doesn't have to be extravagant, just knowing u put the effort in makes me happy
i need romance and foreplay in my love life to be happy.
flowers, cards, random cards, and especially little post it notes left inside cabinets are awesome!
a date night once a week, especially to a motel.
i buy lots of sexy lingerie for my man to enjoy.
I often call him at work on facetime and it is too sexy for others to see!
If you don't have a romantic connection... I don't feel like it is going to last. If it is only sexual or you're just... trying to keep things going or you're using each other then I don't really feel like you got much going on
I agree
It doesn't have to be over the top romance but little gestures that show the person has your best interests in mind go a long way to having a long relationship.
For sure
It's nice to feel wanted, so romance is important.
Notc24/7 but from time to time you need to let the other person know that they mean a lot to you.
Indeed
Romance is a necessary ingredient in the recipe for a long lasting relationship, I think.
Same
I'm a natural hopeless romantic and romance is very important to me. As a matter a fact romance is a must
Awww
I think it's more important to women than it is to men. Most men who do it are doing it for the woman. That has always been the case but these days I think a lot of guys are just kind of cynical about modern women and don't feel they deserve the effort.
It can be nice but not necessary to me, but that may be cause I never received some real bigger romantic gesture ever tho my answer might change in a few years haha
bro I'm a hopeless romantic! i love those like sappy movies, and i always wished something like that would happen to me but i know I'm never that lucky lol.
Lol aww
hey i mean a man can dream lol.
Very important, sorry but if you can't be romantic then I'm moving on to the next guy.
I'm into corny stuff, i find it cute. I don't necessarily like 'romantic' stuff like, date in a fancy restaurant. More into just a film night at home with cuddles
Lol date in a fancy restaurant is not what I consider romantic.
@shatteredmasterpeacee Ah ok sorry- some people find it romantic-
Yeah they do. But I'm like yiu and find simple stuff romantic
Haha I'm the same as you. Romance keeps me interested especially in the beginning
Twinsies
Important as it keeps the relationship alive and excited
I'm a cold hearted schizoid too. But I am not very romantic. I would like romance but its not a need in any way shape or form.
And if you're romantic, there is a good chance you are not cold hearted. You likely might just be selfish
Yeah no lol. I'm not selfish.
@ShaTTeredMasterpeace
I'm speaking out from the perspective of a cold hearted person. If someone offered me a million dollars to kill my husband, I would do it if its guaranteed that I could get away with it.
Romance is something the movies sell as a way to make money and women lap it up as if it is something that is necessary in real life. That’s the problem, then they expect every relationship has to be like that. Puts unrealistic expectations on your partner. I mean you wouldn’t be ok with your partner putting unrealistic expectations on you in the bedroom from porn.. so why do most women have to do that with romance. It’s 12 of one, half a dozen of the other.
I happen to like a little romance not mushy just some, it helps keep the relationship alive
It’s the most important thing for me. I’d rather stay single than being in a heartless relationship. Also I’ve grown up watching many romantic films so I’ve got a soft corner towards romantic moments.
Romance is a main part of a relationship I believe and I mean I love being romanced
