I think they're basically too sheltered, suckers, easy to take advantage of... whatever you want to call it.

Like your normal person recognizes some stranger trying to walk up and trying to shake your hand wants something or is trying to sell something. People try to talk to me and that's all I'm thinking. "What does this bitch/asshole want?" They're naive at they just get sucked into it. Once they're in they just keep believing in the dream that they're spoon-fed. Easy to tell who they are... they're the same people that believe a politician's campaign promises and for some reason despite none of it even being tried to be made real... they'll support that shit like it's the best choice ever.

Parents failed to train them that there are people out there that are just on the take. They don't give a fuck about you, never did and never will, but they want what they can get from you. The serial killer victim sucker types. You know... the types that were probably forced to share their toys with siblings.

That could be part of it. He’s an abusive jackass, but he’s tall, muscle bound, and spent too much money for his car.

It can also be people coming from abusive backgrounds finding that behavior normal. My mother was a psycobitch from hell, but I avoid women like her.

I don’t think it’s acceptance. I think they feel trapped or they have such low self esteem they think if they stick long enough to the good looking people with narcissistic ego, they’d look and feel good as well. So they just tolerate it… even though it’s toxic.

Rarely do these relationships start as abusive ones. They seem to be everything you want and treat u almost over the top well! Then they show their real side. Much like a kidnapper he offers the kid what every kid wants… candy. It’s a trick. And some people still believe the person is good like the way they faked to be good. And yes this can happen to anyone but people with low self worth and boundaries stay longer.

No sometimes they get trapped in those relationships and are afraid of leaving because they don’t know what their partner will do if they snap or get angry.

gotta remember in abusive relationships don’t always start out abusive.

Plus a lot of people who are abusive will manipulate you into staying with them
