I need to detach, but I don't know how to. Any help?

I started seeing this guy, very smart, very handsome, very wealthy, all in one right? He also is prideful and what not. And I feel like Im falling for him, I literally feel intoxicated, but he doesn't want anything like boyfriend/girlfriend. He wants a bond that is psychological/emotional/intellectual/sexual but without the attachment. I don't think it is healthy for me to keep on seeing him but I also cannot seem to go away from him. What should I do to detach from him before he detaches from me. That's what Im scared of. Deep in me I know he'll end up leaving.

Seriously, you seem to already know what you need to do. You really don't need me to tell... it just a matter if you have the courage to do it or not?

If he is using you then yeah he will find some other women and move on, if he is not using you then he will commit. That's the gamble and the risk. Or you just enjoy it while it lasts knowing it will end, but that doesn't mean you can not have fun for as long as its there.

But if you can't stop yourself from falling in love, and getting hurt then you know what you need to do. Best to deal with now than let it wait and hurt more later.

I wish there was an applied mathematical equation for this. There’s two approaches, right? Take the pain on the front end without Scars or Go For It and enjoy the good and bad…-It seemed that you mentioned pretty big Bads.
At some point it gets too much and you’re out but with some scuff marks. There’s probably no Desired Outcome either way here 🤷🏻‍♂️
