Are chances of getting rejected reduced because someone's good looking
+1 yLooks do matter to an extent, but if someone who is hot has a terrible personality, no sane person would date them for long. I'm usually attracted to people who have a calm demeanor. I would only date someone who can handle their emotions well (I can't handle my emotions well, lol. I need someone who would knock some sense into me when I'm being stupid, and I definitely do need someone who can calm me down when I'm emotional).
If someone does not like you, they find you obnoxious. Periodt. It may not be because of your appearance, but more so because they do not feel compatible with your personality. There was this guy in my class in 11th and 12th grade whom I found extremely obnoxious. He was cute, for sure, but had a SHITTY AF personality. *Most* people in my class hated this guy with burning passion.
I would rather date a person who's a 6 in the looks department and has a great personality than someone who is a 9 in the looks department and treats me like shit.
Anyone who says looks don't matter is clearly lying - almost everyone (except those who are visually impaired) obviously date only those they're attracted to. To summarize, looks attract me, personality makes me stay.

Yes, some guys would date you just because you are attractive, and they'd put up with your BS because their own image (how they appear to others, which an attractive woman would enhance) is more important than their happiness or their integrity. Of course, these guys are narcissists (everything is always about them), and they would not love you, but they might treat you okay, at least for a while.
You might also get ugly guys (I'm an ugly guy myself) to date you just because they normally would have no chance of attracting a hot girl.
But these are the exceptions. Most guys would bang you because you are physically attractive, but if you are mean or rude or difficult, then they'll only be interested in casual sex and nothing more. They don't need to like you to bang you.00 Reply
I've had women cheat on their boyfriends and husbands with me, I've had them keep coming back even after I was blatantly rude, I've had them avoid me completely and I've been rejected simply off the assumption that all I wanted was sex.
In other words, all of them have been different. I would say it helps with attracting them initially, but my chances of getting rejected are just as high as the next guy's depending on the girl and her reasons. The reasons just might be a little different.
No, being good looking doesn't give you a free pass to fuck and date whoever you want. At least as a guy it doesn't00 Reply

Looks just works as a billboard.
It draws attention.
But just like a billboard doesn't guarantee a purchase good looks doesn't determine if anyone actually wants you.
Indeed how good you look to people depends on how they feel about you and your personality.
A good genuine smile reaching the eyes matters more for how good someone looks then their actual physical appearance.
And once they get to know you at least 2/3rd of how good you're looking to them depends on how they feel about you, your personality, your body language, everything...10 ReplyOf course. Nobody will ever like you but that has little or nothing to do with men hoping to pork you. Dating to a man means an opportunity to score. Like you or hate you the goal is the same, to nail you. Once that's been accomplished or proves to require too much effort the man will forget about you and move on.

u +1 ythat depends on the person really...
I would never ever, even consider dating someone I didn't like no matter how good they look
but I am sure there will be plenty of people who would not mind, and might give it a go just to get the sex and then leave once they get it done10 Reply
+1 yDepends who the person is and how they think, I know with some people it's possible that is the case, also depends what they seek for in a relationship, a smart person that plays their cards right wouldn't reject but would ask for contact information to have a chance to get to know the person before jumping into a relationship.
10 Reply2.7K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Yes. Being good looking gains you attention that you would otherwise not have. Your personality is slightly less important to some.
Which might explain why sometimes such people seemingly have not put the effort in to develop theirs or have become conceited.10 Reply- 1.2K opinions shared on Relationships topic.
+1 yLol giving yourself way too much credit lol. I can only speak personally. And personally, I’ve turned down at least five women in my lifetime. 4 of them by social standards would be considered 7 & 8 out of 10 which is pretty attractive. Because they didn’t have what I was looking for. So yes, just because people may lust after your body, doesn’t mean they actually want to date you and be with you. Those are two different things. Those have to be proven.
20 Reply Initially, yes. Most people even if they're terrible people but as long as they're good looking, will almost always be in a relationship or still seeing someone, so it's not uncommon - unless they themselves make it clear they aren't interested in anyone or if they're so terrible nobody wants to be in the same room with them.
This is what I've noticed, usually. That being said, since they're terrible people, their relationships might still be toxic.00 Reply
+1 yI would generally shy away from the more attractive men. It always seemed they would be the most likely the cheat. That is what my younger mind assumed. Some convinced me otherwise.

+1 ySomewhat but your arrogance about your beauty doesn't help the situation whatsoever. As soon as I heard something like that come out of your mouth I wouldn't be attracted at all

+1 yYou can absolutely get dates based on your looks if someone doesn't "really" like you. They could see you as a status symbol or want you for the sex. Every so often I'll hear a woman complain that "I can't get a date because I'm too good looking and men are intimidated by me"! Life's rough, huh?

+1 yIt depends on your egotism. Nothing wrong with someone that knows they're attractive but if you had a behavioral pattern of attention seeking, or narcissistic tendencies I wouldn't touch you with a ten foot pole.
10 Reply7.3K opinions shared on Relationships topic. If you are good looking it is easier to attract people of the opposite sex. If you are in insufferable jerk it will be very apparent in short order.
10 Reply313 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Depends upon how grating your personality is. If it is slightly annoying guys will put up with you for awhile.
10 ReplyThey dafe you because they accept the way you are and the way you look , no body is perfect. An attractive person might have a greater chance in the looks department but there personality might hinder those chances
10 ReplyYes i think so. People have always preferred physical appearance over any other attributes, which is really frustrating.

Lots of guys will only date good looking women.
Just like lots will date only models.
On the other hand, some women will only date good looking men - regardless of whether they really like them.
