Yes, for eastern cultures (indian, Asian, middle eastern), their perspective of love is rooted in sacrifice and hard work, putting ones needs before your own. In this respect love has foundation, but is less blissful.

Whereas western cultures are more about self gratification, instant happiness and passion. Its blissful, but has no foundation.

yes as the Eastern... Asian form of Love is more traditional, practical, and actually more passionate if one is Conservative by Nature. Only the West has upside down Morality and same-sex issues.

I don’t know what the eastern understanding of love is, only that parents are overly demanding and controlling and do not give their kids free will to choose their lives.

It's at least a little bit different. People over there have different views on relationships/marriage than we do over here. There are still some similarities of course

I don't think the concept of love is different. What is different is what is expected in a relationship and all the cultural differences when it comes to behaving in public, etc.
