Childhood crushes are usually short lasting. You grow up and feelings change and you go your separate ways. But sometimes you wonder what could/might have been. Has it ever happened to you? Do you still think of them to this day?
I had a girlfriend in the eighth grade. She and I hung out for probably around 8 months. We kind of drifted apart the summer between 8th grade and high school. It was not a heartbreak or anything like that. Our paths didn't cross much in high school. About 15 years ago I contacted her on "Classmates dot com" and she had been widowed and had a couple of kids. (She got married when she was 19.) We planned to meet but then she met some guy and got married... LOL... I see her on social media quite often.

Quite a few. Susan Krumphardt (a girl I was in the first 4 years of school with), Mrs. Baumgarten (a teacher), Cherry (a cute girl that babysat me a couple times), my aunt (I think she was in her mid teens when I was born), Cindy Staymie (girl I was in 4th grade with), Diane Rudl (she lived across the street from me), Emily Swank (I met her in Jr. high and was madly in love with her for the next 13 years!), Cheryl Hubbard (a SUPER cute girl I worked at Cedar Point with), Jennifer (I never knew her last name but she also worked at Cedar Point with me) and there was another CP girl who I can barely recall, I only saw her 2 or 3 times while I was there), Amy Wrightmeyer (SUPER cute and sweet redhead that lived next door for a few months and then got kinda strange and disappeared!), and then, I actually started getting girlfriend's.
I love that song.
Yes. I did. I can’t recall my earliest crushes, like what they looked like— though I do remember a few first names. My first major crush was around 12 years old. We dated a few years later for quite a while. I think back fondly from time to time.
Yes I do still think of them but not as much as when I had a crush on them. The first one changed and I am no longer attracted to him. The other one has a kid so yeah I'm pretty much over it now lol

In 8th grade. Mary Kay was a cute, cute, cute little girl with blonde hair, a cute body, and brains. At that age, I was far too shy to ever act on my feelings.

yes, I had a childhood crush... and it wasn't short lived as it lasted ALL six years through elementary, and, moreso than how pretty she was, it was the way mysterious way she was and she would behave... the one and only, lol
I had a second crush during middle-school, but that one went a bit differently, and I was not exactly a "child" anymore, lol Yeah, I had one for years and it didn't help that she was actually pretty.. I was pretty sad when she went off to college, but had hoped that I still caught her eye whenever she came back.. She still looks good now, but man I'm glad I got over that one.. LOL.. But I was always crushing on somebody for a long time.. Still do sometimes..
I'm married to him. He was my first friend though, not just a crush.
I was the friend zone guy... My youth sucked. I was socially awkward and i had too many to count. And never had the opportunity to express any of my feelings because i was always trying to console others rather than persue any of my true hopes... I often think on past flings wondering what they are up to... But i know i shouldn't. Always makes me feel terrible in the end because i feel like im betraying my marriage. Even though i never act on the impulse to reach out... While im sure im not the only guy out there with this problem it sure feels like i am. Lol. Im still socially awkward. And im aways afraid to share my thoughts because people can be SOOO critical and judgmental of eachother im left feeling like im not normal.
I had a serious childhood crush when I was young. She was a neighbor and my sisters close friend. Long story short I ended up spraying raid in her face not directly. I think I was only 9-11. A long time later when I was in college I was able to say hi when she moved away and had kids. I told her how sorry I was about that incident and how I had a crush but don’t anymore. She got extremely upset because I said I don’t have a crush anymore. She said “stop lying yes you do!”. I said “yes ok”? Why would I still have a crush on her? She’s still a family friend and comes over once in a while.
So many when I was 7-11, singers, actresses, babysitter. Had a crush on my English teacher when I was 11.
Then I met a girl called Donna at school. Had a crush on her for four years. Found her on Facebook a while back and she hasn't aged well lol. She was stunning growing up.
Yes. A huge crush. And more than once. (Those who know me know this.). It's why I forced myself to grow a cold heart -- to keep from having it broken again. That's why I don't talk to girls anymore.
For me it was my first love. For years after we broke up I wondered what she was up to. Whether we were still compatible. Once facebook became a thing I no longer needed to wonder. She went full on hippie and named her kid lillymoon. Didn't take me long to lose my sense of nostalgia and I don't think of her anymore.
Her name was Lisa, she sat next to me in the next row over in 7th grade... blonde, smart and pretty... and she hated my guts, which made her even more desirable. The first time I learned about my body, I was thinking of Lisa.
I have and it was hard though because the guy quit talking to me at all. I kind of miss him. He was a friend of mine.
Oh yes. Three of them in grade school. What I didn't know was at our 50th reunion, two of them said they actually liked ME! Never had any idea! Too bad nothing ever happened about that.
Sure many. Sometimes but I generally realize it is all fantasy. I learned more my mind is imaginative and that was strong influence early on.
Yeah, I had one such a crush, when I was 16. That was my first contact with gold digging.
I had a celebrity crush as well - Christina Aguilera. That short hottie was the main participant in all of my wet dreams with her... 🤭😁Yes.
I started crushing on girls at 6-7 and I was always crushing on someone until about 16.
Sure, already in third kindergarten. And it lasted a full year.
I find it hard to believe anyone who isn't ace hasn't had one lmao I've had like 15
Granted only like 2 or 3 were actually big crushesI was 9 when I had my first crush it lasted until I was 12
Due to Facebook I still somewhat know what my childhood crush is up to. I don't use Facebook that much anymore, but if I had the desire to talk to her on Facebook, it wouldn't be that hard.
Yes I definitely did. No I don't think about them often. In fact reading this question I actually had to think about it.
