I just wanna see what other people think. I have a strong opinion about this but nobody wants to hear it
I hear plenty from women every time I'm on GAG. Like one guy who said he was rejected for being a farmer. Assuming he's telling the truth, that's a really stupid reason to reject someone.
"Oh, he's a hard worker and has an essential job for society? He must be poor! Drag him! Slay him! Sipping on that true tea!"
(Taken from Itsagundam, who got it RuPaul's Drag Race or some sh*t.)As for me, I was rejected once because I didn't have long hair. Even though I'm black and can't grow dreadlocks. Oh well. 🤷♂️ People are dumb and dumb people do dumb things.

+1 yTwice, ten years apart, for “I can’t go out with you, you’re my best friend.” One included “I can talk to you about anything.”
One for being over 30, one week past my 31st birthday. She then went out with a 29-year-old drug addict.
”My last boyfriend was also from Georgia.”
”It’s not you, it’s me.” She’d plant a nice, long kiss on me when she saw me, but wouldn’t let me buy her dinner.
I was a coworker. It was the same company with thousands of employees, but we never saw each other at work.
”Too short” from a woman who was 5’ 1”. Her last boyfriend was 6’ 5”. (But, he was her ex, so obviously, a 99th percentile height isn’t everything.)
And, “Whatever girl ends up with you will be one lucky chick” while rejecting me.

+1 yOf course. Sometimes people are dumb and let small things stand in the way of getting a great partner. For example, a girl rejecting a guy because he has a beard is a dealbreaker. She doesn't get it it's his body his choice. Or a guy rejecting a girl because she says she has high body count (it's 12). So friggin dumb. In the former, the girl can either show him to trim well and make peace with it or the guy loses the beard willingly. On the latter, the guy takes time into context and her age. If she's 30+ and she's didn't go through the men like 3men in a week then there's nothing to worry! Lmao.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yYes: he’s not (at least) six foot tall (especially if she’s tiny).
His job doesn’t SOUND “cool” or that he’s going to make a lot of money. He’s passionate about it, good at it, it’s not a total financial destroyer for them, etc.
This is weird especially if she’s not taking in some decent cash herself. I’ve experienced girls criticize me for not making as much as a engineer. But I work hard, I’m good at it, I’m a consistent worker. And a lot of the more judgmental girls weren’t making much themselves. I could see it if she was killing it with a consistent 40k a year job if I was only making 5k a year, ok. But if you’re only making 10k and crapping on a guy for making ONLY 35k, then that’s ridiculous.
“He’s slightly younger than I am.” There was a radio morning show guy who decided to help set up listeners and maybe make some love connections. One girl, they guy sounded perfect for her. He was right height, good weight, liked to work out, liked a lot of the same things she did, seemed normal enough… then they got to birthdays. Turns out, the guy was like three days younger than the girl. She’s like “I don’t date younger guys” and refused to budge. She quickly hung up. The guys were stunned because it seemed like it was going really well. If it wasn’t a set up for drama… jeez, that’s picky. Seems like a rule to bend, especially if the other answers to questions were going so well. Had he been born four days earlier, it probably would have been ok.00 Reply- 471 opinions shared on Relationships topic.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yThis is entirely subjective, considering not everyone values the exact same qualities from their partner. I've turned women down because they weren't into anime and gaming, which I'm sure 99% of people would think is totally dumb, but it's a big part of who I am.
Personally, I think height requirements are stupid. I get that most women want to date someone taller, but you'll see people get turned down instantly because they're less than 6'2", meanwhile the woman is barely 5 foot xD but everybody has their thing, I suppose00 Reply2.9K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Technically it doesn't matter. Whatever reason a girl has is good enough. Her body her choice.
Incidentally…behavior science has found its most likely not you. We’re all attracted to things that enhance our memories. So some girls are looking for some guy that resembles their dad. Neither of you can possibly know that. Another might have some subconscious obsession with Zach Morris types.
So in a perfect world, you ask a girl out, she says no, you both go about your business emotion-free.11 Reply- +1 y

I don't want to get the pink accounts mad at me again, but I think there are 100% objectively stupid things to reject someone for. But I understand that people with social leverage can get away with practically anything so it doesn't matter at all. For example, a pretty girl has social leverage for various reasons. If she rejects a guy for wearing Nike instead of Adidas that's stupid right? But if the guy shows that he's unsatisfied with the reason at all, she can just call him an incel and get him witch hunted if she wants to.
For the most part, people have a good reason to reject others. "I am not interested" is a perfectly valid reason. It's just that some people just search for reasons to say no instead of admitting that they just don't want to go out with the other person. - +1 y
The reason why my opinion on this is strong is because I think your reputation is kind of like a credit score. Asking out too many people and getting rejected too many times will affect your reputation. You never know who knows who. The more people have a bad image of you, the more likely an opportunity closes for you in the future. Romantic/sexual issues seem to carry the farthest, so that's why I think rejection is a big deal

7.3K opinions shared on Relationships topic. There are many stupid reasons but it all boiled down to you just don't feel attracted to somebody. A woman can be pretty and smart and had a good personality and she might have the hots for me and if I am not feeling the same way I might just come up with a lame reason to reject her.
01 Reply- +1 y
@exitseven The way I interpret "stupid" reasons, they are the reasons that you would reject someone even if you ARE attracted to them.
+1 yI think if someone uses a “stupid” reason to reject someone, it just means they are not that into them in the first place. When they are really into someone, you will be amazed by what they can tolerate and what “rules” they will break or exceptions they will make for that person that they didn’t for someone else. So when someone rejects you for a “stupid” reason, just know that and move on.

+1 yYes, there definitely are, but when you say "reject", I immediately think of it in an "attraction" sort of way, not an intellect way. Probably the worst reasons are individual pet peeves. I know that if a girl has ugly feet or man-like hands, it's a turn off for me physically. I wouldn't reject her as a person, but the attractiveness factor is lessened. If she had a lot of other things that attracted me though, I could get passed it.
00 Reply No. There are reasons that others have that I would never consider, but what would really be stupid would be accepting someone who does not meet your minimum preferences simply because someone else manipulated you with a claim that your reason (s) are stupid.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yTbh I think the person has a right to reject another person for whatever reason. Why would the other party want to be stuck with a person that isn't attracted to them completely?
For example I have small boobs, if a guy wants to reject me because of that reason, it's fine because I wouldn't want to be with someone who isn't physically attracted to me.

Then your better off then many. It’s not even worth worrying over someone that gives in for such a simple and “fixable” reason…
Opinion Owner+1 y@VanillaSalt wow better off then many. Shows how your truly feel. A 30C cup and and 30B cup is actually flat chested and an 38A cup is bigger then those two. Lmao I am an A cup... just wanted to expose your ignorance. You should research bra sizes instead of making ignorant comments.
Opinion Owner+1 yfixable? magine if you are told you can fix your small penis? Tbh I don't think there's anything wrong with a guy with a small penis... but I guess I'm too mature ✌️

@pinkrose24 your too mature? While allowing others to make you feel bad about your body because you have small tits? While insulting someone whom paid you a compliment not 2 comments earlier? Then you argue with me while simultaneously telling me there’s women out there with smaller tits then you…
To be clear I don’t need to research bra sizes cause I neither wear one nor do I care what size a woman’s tits are. Sexy underwear’s not my thing and when I bought lingerie for my girl I only paid she picked it out so it works fine…
Now go sit in the corner with your small tits and think on what an ass you’ve been.
Opinion Owner+1 y@VanillaSalt 🤣🤣 lmao I don't feel bad about having small boobs. I like having small boobs. All I'm saying is you're ignorant because you assumed A cup was the smallest size. Most guys assume it's the letter that makes the cups big. I was not bringing down women with 30B 30C cups. I just mention them to point out that you're ignorant about sizes. You're the one that said I'm "better off than many" when you assumed I was not an A cup. That's not a compliment that's creepy. And u also stated it was "fixable" lmao you're the one trying to bring women down not me 🤣🤣🤣 u probably tell ur girlfriend to sit in the corner for having saggy tits... I can't take u seriously lmao

Opinion Owner+1 y@VanillaSalt lol u ignored everything I said. Bye ✌️
No, because it's too subjective. What's a stupid reason to 1 is a legit reason to another. What's stupid is when someone rejects people only for how they look or a lack of money/status... yet demands that the opposite sex respect them for substantive reasons only, and not superficial reasons. What one puts out, they usually attract back to them.

The only real place I draw the line is criminal history, specifically rapists, pedophiles, serial killers & domestic violence. I can pretty much forgive everything else within reason.
I've dated the rainbow. I've been with men 5'2" all the way to 6'4". I've been with every shifter (1,2&3rd shift) & even guys who were between jobs. I've been with guys who only ride bikes (pedal) & guys who had luxury vehicles. I've been with guys who had their own house & guys who still live with their parents.
I don't date douchebags long term, usually after a week I am able to tell & can end it.
But to each their own.

@Jamie05rhs how can you say that? Without knowing who and when and why they lost, how can you pass that fucking judgement? THAT'S INSANE, JAMES!

@anon1903 If it was consensual, then I have every right to pass judgement. All people can be judged for their actions that they willingly take.

@Subarugirl While that statement is technically true, I believe that sex is a part of love. I don't believe in sex without love. Those who do participate in casual sex are not compatible with me; they are of a different culture and values system.

- +1 y
@Jamie05rhs sorry
- +1 y
@anon1903 No problem; you're fine! :)
- +1 y
@Subarugirl Yeah, but that's just an excuse. Most cases are not people test-driving. They intentionally have sex as an integral part of their relationship. It's not just a "test" at the end before launch (marriage). They've been doing it from the very beginning -- WAAAAY before they were thinking about marriage.
- +1 y
(Also, you didn't answer my question, but that's okay.)
- +1 y
@Jamie05rhs well if you are with someone and the sex absolutely sucks there is a good chance the relationship isn’t going to continue. I guess if that isn’t an important aspect of the relationship for you it doesn’t matter.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl Yeah; that's the whole point. People who value sex more that love are the people who have sex before marriage. And they also break up and get divorced whenever they are having any kind of problem -- including sexual -- in their marriage. That's why I don't want to marry someone like that. They're not loyal.
