So, yeah this is actually happening and I don't know the details yet but this what my friend told me yesterday.

When I was a freshman in college I had a friend who was a commuter that lived in town. His girlfriend knew somebody that she thought would like me. One Saturday night they picked me up at my dorm and we drove to this bar about 4 or 5 miles away and this girl was going to meet us there. So we get there and she shows up. She was okay looking but we really did not have much in common. For one thing I was in Air Force ROTC and she was one of these anti war hippies. My friend though it would be funny if they left me there with her so they leave. This girl figures it out and she says she is leaving. I asked her if she could give me a ride back to the dorm. It would have been a 5 mile walk in the freezing cold. She refused so as she was leaving i jumped on the hood of her car. She tried to shake me off but I had a good grip on the hood. Finally she stops and agrees to give me a ride back. It was a horror show but now it is one of these things I laugh at.
