I’m in a friends with benefits kind of situation with a guy and I’ve caught feelings and I have no idea what the hell I’m supposed to do now.. help

Like all the others before me have said, first you'll need to reflect on your own feelings. How and why did you catch feelings for him? What are some of the things about him that really stuck out with you for you to see him as someone you'd catch feelings for? After you've done that, acknowledge whether or not you want to actually pursue a relationship with them or not, and if so, then why? Are they actually worth it? Or are they just a good f*ck?

Once you've answered all these questions, talk to him about it. I'd prefer if you did it in person over dinner or something and not on text or call. Start by asking him seriously about what his thoughts are about having a committed relationship and work your what from there. If you feel like he's open to the idea, express your true feelings to him and hope for the best. If his response is a negative one or he declines your advances, I think it's probably best if you guys stopped seeing each other.

Personally, I'm not one to indulge in casual hook-ups or keeping friends with benefits, but I know a few friends who have been through something similar like you have, and from what they tell me, it's a bad thing to have feelings for the person you just casually sleep with, especially if they don't feel the same way towards you. Do the math.

Firstly, you have to admit that u really like this guy. And there is a simple question than: "Why not?". You dont write that he is against of true relationships, I guess the real trouble for u it's whether you need it now. In my country friends with benefits is not an option, you have to date girl or guy and don't assess ur relations in terms of sex only. Give a try u will know. Tell him about your thoughts, because maybe right now u may lose a good guy u like and miss about lost opportunity later

Oh, not another one of these. You really think something as intimate as having some other persons body part inside you is some perfunctory thing that "just friends" do? Its not. Too many women fall for this non committal trap. Chances are, you know the answer- he doesn't reciprocate. You should be honest. If he doesn't have feelings, you're better off moving on so he doesn't use you.

Catching feelings is a major no no in that kind of relationship. It's like shitting all over the whole point of having that kind of relationship. How the hell you catch feelings when the whole damn point is to not get near that kind of stuff?

Anyways, you're going to have to figure out how it happened to get away from it. Probably just dicked you down really good and turned out to be a guy you'd want more from. If you were open to that then you should've been out there looking for that from the start. He might do something with you back if you explain yourself to him, but it's 100% fair if he just drops you like a bad habit and shows you pictures of his wife and the other 2 side chicks.
