Is a revenge affair just as bad too?

Lets say they cheated first slightly over a year ago, they expressed remorse about it and you guys tried working it out but later on you found it overwhelming. Initially you thought you could handle it but nope, you can't. The triggers don't go away.

Then you decide it's enough and want to break up but before that, you cheated back with a close friends with benefit you liked in the past. You did for two reasons, you liked them but at the same time it was for revenge too. You're about to break up soon. Now are you just as bad too?

It doesn't seem right, but I definitely understand that natural feeling to get back at someone that hurt you badly. Sometimes, people can just walk away not knowing whether or not the other person will experience some form of justice or karma, but other times some people feel the need to hurt that person that hurt them.

What did that revenge accomplish for you other than just getting laid?

Nothing. I thought it would give me the satisfaction of hurting her back. The other girl friendzoned me afterwards and decided that we shouldn't do it anymore; another waste of time.
