Why are cheaters also hypocrites?

I got cheated on once. He didn't even confess. I had to find out from sources and pressed the truth out of him. Then when I caught his lies, he starts begging.

I placed my condition. I would only take him back (I lied, it was just a trick though) if he allows me one hallpass with a guy he hated. He felt that offer was disgusting and declined it. I called him out on being a hypocrite and full of BS.

Nevertheless even if he had said yes, I wouldn't have done it. I just wanted to see his reaction. But why are cheaters also hypocrites, esp in some men? They can cheat and have their fun but I can't?

I would've dumped him either way. I was just testing his reaction. I don't take back cheaters. I just find it upsetting that they can be hypocrites... so full of them. Why can I have my fun too if he had his fun?
