We've been dating for 2 years and he knew I was (and still am) an atheist when we met. He seemed ok first but over time, he kept trying to seek explanation of why made me an atheist.
Recently within these past 3 month, he's been repeatedly disrespecting my stance on it by calling atheists stupid (he just literally called me stupid and I argued back), how they don't make sense and insisted that I should read the bible. I feel this is controlling behavior. Why is he trying to get me to believe in god?
Then he was the last statement he said that got is making me now want to break up: him saying that I would've been nearly the perfect wife material if I wasn't an atheist.

I feel insulted with the last statement he just said. For me it's like a ''Wait a minute, what the hell did you just said, that I'm not good enough for you to commit but only good for dates''? I'm crying out of anger right now.
