Is it unfair that my boyfriend won't let me talk about God?

My boyfriend is an Atheist, and I am Christian, but despite that, we get along well and have a great relationship, except for one thing - he won't let me talk about my love of God and Jesus.

I want to share this with him, and hopefully by extension, slowly lead him down the path, but he shuts me down each time with "I don't believe in that stuff, so please stop" or something similar, and then we end up in a fight.

I'm at my wit's end, I don't know what to do, I want him to let me share my love of God and Jesus and slowly lead him down the path towards salvation, and he won't let me, any tips?

It's pointless to try sharing your "love for jesus/god" with an atheist. Share your love for each other. Forget about imaginary beings.

He simply isn't interested in hearing about unfounded beliefs.

I know this is hard for someone on your level of indoctrination to understand, but think about how you might feel if your boyfriend suddenly decided that he loved Snow White and had a deep and loving relationship with her and that after his death, he would be with her forever.

Well, if I was in your partners position, as the atheist in a relationship with a theist, I don't think I'd want to talk about it with a partner much either.

Theists often get very upset when they have it explained to them /why/ their ideas don't hold up to scrutiny. If your partner doesn't just not believe what you do, but actually dismantle your beliefs, will you be open to listening?
Are you as willing to give up your religious beliefs as you want him to be open to accepting them? Or do you just want a one-sided conversation. Because I've been in a lot of theist/atheist conversations, and your side never wins.

Congratulations. But you need to stop pushing your beliefs on him, especially since he's made it clear he doesn't like it. You're welcome to express your joy and happiness with your God all you wish, but have enough respect for your partner to not do that to him.

If you have a love of God then I think you should express it. But there are other ways of doing that besides trying to push it on your boyfriend (when it's obvious he doesn't want it.) I just hope you don't cause him to resent you or your beliefs.

You should reconsider whether you want this relationship and prayer works when words do not but it does not work on everybody. On rare occasions God will ignore your prayers on another person’s behalf.

From my perspective, I left Christianity because I actually studied the Bible and discovered most of it was fake or wrong. Which lead me to a more natural pagan faith. I have a lot of Christian family members, because I was born into a Christian family. They try to convert me back, and unlike your boyfriend, I take my time to go about destroying their bibles narratives and statements. Most people that aren't Christian, don't want to have a debate. They don't want to convert, they don't want to be talked at, they don't want to have the Christian religion shoved down their throat. Here is a question, would you enjoy having a Muslim boyfriend try to convert you to Islam and get you to wear a Hijab?

If it were me, I would have broken up with you already. That shows exactly how much he must care about you, and how little you actually care about him. You value him as a possible convert, not as a person. Now that you are seeing he either does not want to be converted, or cannot be converted, you are beginning to lose interest. You did not once mention your love for your boyfriend, you only ever mentioned a love for your god. I suggest you break thing off with your boyfriend, and either devote yourself to your god, or find a boyfriend that is already a member of the Christian cult. Don't lead him along just because you want to convert him. You will just end up making him totally hate Christians because he starts seeing them as purely cult members trying to shove their religion down everyone else's throats. (Which from my experience, they are.)
