Depends which "Jesus" you're talking about. The "White American one" didn't exist.

Also, depends which "Christianity" you're talking about as Western and Eastern Christianity are both very different from Coptic Christianity and the others.

As for Big Jes, no one can really make fun of him as no one knows him. There was no "Jesus" in that day, it's actually a Hellenised translation of "Joshua" or "Iseous" which is what his actual name name would have been. They didn't speak English back then.

I don’t think they are making fun of Jesus, I think they are making fun of their imaginary belief about who Jesus is. Less than 1% would make fun of Jesus if they knew who he was. They are making fun of a caricature that they mistakenly believe is the Jesus of the bible.

The only thing Jews say about jesus is that he's not involved in our religion, and that's only when someone else asks. There are no teachings on jesus, no scripture or verses. He's not involved in Judaism at all and he's not ever talked about

Like all religions I find it completely unbelievable. Many believers are quite intolerant of any expression of skepticism. I think this is because they have insisted so much into following any religion that the thought that it may not be true is very scary.

Saying "I'm offended" is a statement of feelings, and does not close discussion. People who are offended by others questioning their beliefs should leave the discussion and go back to watching the PTL club.
