Come on, you can't attribute certain feelings to just females. True, there are people who feel that they need no one, but that may be because they never felt wanted in their childhood.

true I suspect, men can feel terribly lonely and all sorts of feelings... or hide them... depending upon emotional makeup, experiences, and personality of the person. I'm pointing to the fundamental difference between male/female makeup. did you not feel wanted in your childhood?
My other point more important is... when sad and down, and especially for melancholy personality type, it feels good to slurp up the negative feelings and stay there. We resonate with how we resonate inside. Go the other direction. I turned off most music a long time ago until I could view it from a "Christ" "God" perspective, then I can experience it in a more healthy way, eventhough much of it comes from a place of brokeneness. Perspective/view is a liberating thing.
