Were Anakin and Obiwan Really Friends? Or Anakin and any of the other JEdi? Or was it a toxic false relationship?

Yes, they were- that's what made his fall so tragic. Anakin was incredibly skilled in pretty much everything, and such a person, when he meets with repeated great success at a young age, is going to become convinced of his own greatness. Anakin was- note that this does NOT necessarily mean being convinced of others' lousiness, as it didn't here, but that DID reinforce his felt need to protect those who were close to him. This pushed Anakin into dark areas and dark actions, and the unforgiving and excessively communal nature of the Jedi Order's morality pushed Anakin further away from them, finally culminating with them granting him authority, but not rank.

A less self-driven person might've seen that as a chance to prove himself, or at even formally question WHY that distinction was made, and Anakin might very well have gone in that direction- but he had Palpatine whispering in his ear the whole time, driving him further into isolation and paranoia. Look at Palpatine's actions leading up to declaring the purge: he's CONSTANTLY pushing Anakin to act, and act NOW, without pausing to think or consider why he would take a a given course of action.

Even that probably wouldn't've worked, were it not for the arrogance of the Order: had Windu bothered to put the word out that the Chancellor was a traitor, or the masters he brought with him actually been prepared for Palpatine to resist arrest, or the Order taken any real threat to the safety of its own members seriously, the Emperor's plan would've hit some serious snags- it might still have WORKED, but not without a LOT of public outcry and hearings, instead of the nigh-instant, almost objectionless turning on the Jedi.

I believe they were. More than friends, like brothers espicially after Annakin became a jedi knight. Obi wan should not have been allowed to train Annakin, he had only just become a jedi Knight after Qui Gon died. The two complimented each other well, Annakin in his offense and Obi wan in defence. They balanced each other well.
