My boyfriend is already addicted to Twitter! His phone alerts him of messages all day and night. I don't get his attention either. What to do?

Last night I was sound asleep and he was hulled up in the bathroom with his girlfriend, Twitter! At 11:00 PM his phone made these really loud sounds, they woke me up and I was stuck laying there wide awake as he started snoring right away. Wouldn't that make you mad?

I guess he loves all the new attention from new people. He's sure excited about it.
GAG is my limit.

No, a cell phone!! I have my aunt's cell phone but I almost never have it turned on more than 10:00 a day. I see if anyone called and check the weather. if I need to make a couple calls, I do that and I'm done for the rest of the day! The ONLY reason I even use that is because there's no longer a house phone!

You need to tell him to shut his phone off at night otherwise you’re gonna find somewhere else to sleep.

People need to respect your boundaries if you have told him you can’t even sleep at night. Because his phone sounds like a locomotive pulling into the station. Then there is a problem.

If you have not talked to him. Then you need to have communication. You can’t expect him to read your mind. Although this would be aggravating to a reasonable person.

To start, he needs to silence his phone so your sleep isn't affected. If he's staring at phone, does he really need to be alerted with volume?

@Sixgunsound these cellphones can cause a lot of relationship problems. When he is hooked on watching his porn, then comes to me for hugs and cuddles, I refused! I said "Oh, now you're black mystery box can't do what I can do, hug you in person. Well, forget it! I resent that so much. Like he's using me because he wants hugs and he'd probably have his cellphone do it, but it's not an option. Grrrr! 🌹
