Do you agree that some people have high intelligence but low emotional intelligence thats why they are not in a relationship?

I know a lot of people are single because they are low in strength, they can’t handle rejection, afraid of emotional closeness, terrified people will learn their secrets, are intimidated by thought of meeting his or her family, feel bad dating when parents do not approve, afraid of getting dumped or cheated on, not ready to support a family etc…

No. "Emotional intelligence" isn't really a thing. Some people are just very toxic and some people have not been raised around that level of toxicity. It's funny, in life being toxic is bad but so is naiveté. It's like you need to understand how evil some people can be and watch out for them. But at the same time not let it turn you bitter or end your ability to trust.

emotional intelligence is a bullshit term made up by people with low intelligence to make themself feel better. the only people that are very intelligent with low emotional understanding are autists.

the reason that people with high intelligent are single is that there's less very intelligent people (right end of the bell curve). and it's hard to relate to people with low iq. not because the intelligent person lacks "emotional intelligence" but because it's hard to empathize with someone who thinks very simplistic.

I agree to a certain extent. I just think that most of the time it's not that they are emotionally unintelligent, it's just that they're plain old inconsiderate. And sometimes they have an additional delusional arrogance, like one of the guys who answered 😂
